I was injured while playing this piece. it is not a very serious injury but I think I need to take a rest for a few days. I was uploading a video every day since I open this channel, sometimes two times a day. I really enjoyed it and it was such a great experience to share my music with you guys. I really appreciate your support and I will be back with beautiful music again very soon!
Please take some rest! Injuries get worse the more you ignore them( I know from experience)
holy shit imagine playing so hard you hurt urself
That's horrible. Take care and get well soon (if you haven't yet)
@@divisix024 I am much better now! 😅
TRAUM MUSIC That's great to hear! All the best!
Franz Liszt, looking down from heaven and reading the title “Pianist got injured”
Franz: Good. Exactly as I intended, dedication takes sacrifice.
Franz: Bar 147 you played the c# for about 25 ms too long
Yes
LMFAO-
cool
This is is the comment we need but we don't deserve
You were uploading too much at the same time mate, take frequent rests please we can wait
You are so sweet 😘Thanks!

Liszt strikes me as the type of guy who has a dungeon. And in that dungeon, there is a chained up man, and a piano...
🤔
KaaiPlaysPiano 🤔 indeed
Right!!! And the guy chained up, was Liszt himself. He composed and practiced this stuff for hours on end from what I've read. The Transendental Etudes are murderous. And, he supposedly improvised over his own compositions when Playing in concert performance. He must have been something else.
dungeon with a chained up man inside? owo.....
Lmao what

You got's to be kidding, really.
@@Niga_man_ it's d#. why would anyone find an e flat in an a minor piece...
The particle effect takes too long to disperse... beautiful performance however.
Got it!
Traum yea I could increase the decay by loads
or you could just get the music sheet
I think it's great actually
@Manichan World what are you talking about
5:08 This part right here is possibly the best arrangement i've heard of it, it has a really catchy bouncy rhythm instead of going full speed like almost everyone else plays it
How has this not blown up yet? Amazing, your octaves are so clean too! I'd hate to imagine how it will be like to play it full speed. WTF is with the dislikes...
I know! He has been uploading multiple times a day and is super talented! And the only reason I found him is because I watched his Mazeppa video after searching for Mazeppa videos yesterday then saw your post about it today
@@JacobSimpson This guy appear in my recommendation today, TH-cam made a good work showing this to me.
The dislikes comes from the fact that his playing appears robotic and that the notes in the midi synthesia are inhumanly-even, it just appears sped up
Ayee Flaming Piano!!
I personally dislike when someone tries to pass stuff played on an electric piano/midi controller as real piano playing, but I know many people aren't that sensible and get easily impressed by a gimmick.
I randomly stumbled upon your channel but wow. What a WONDERFUL rendition of mazeppa. Some renditions I’ve seen don’t have all the “anger” necessary at the start, but yours nails it.
I just checked your comment... Thank you so much 🙏
Absolutely
5:56, where the hand was hurt ( left )
Damn, that was the hardest part of the piece.
Damn, that was the hardet part of the song.

This performance was so good I canceled my Spotify premium and switched to TH-cam music so I could listen to it
that octave run at 2:17 looks INSANE, you’re a beast! :D
🤩
yeah its isnt as impressive as it seems
its very simple
Nam 2k11 Just because it’s simple doesn’t mean it’s easy. It’s not as hard as some other parts, but it’s still really difficult.
@@ngophuongnam8689 jealous much?...
What a hidden gem, that was really well played
:)
Anyone who never tried playing on piano have no idea how HARD this is.
Coming back here after Rousseau's performance and it feels like a different piece entirely. I much prefer your interpretation. I think you nailed it

i have heard many pianists play this but holy shit the speed at 5:27
never seen that anywhere
Lol it's easy
Just as daily Liszt practice😉
I was like: HOLY SHEET WHAT THE HECK!?!????
Yep, that was an amazing moment!
This may be the best interpretation of Mazeppa I’ve ever heard, and I’ve probably heard a hundred. It goes without saying that the technique is absolutely impeccable, damn near flawless, a feat that by itself is worthy of endless praise. But it goes much deeper than that - the transitions from staccato to legato, the imposing use of the pedal without ever sacrificing clarity and articulation, the dynamic range, it’s all incredible. Bravo. I haven’t played much Liszt, but if I ever get around to learning more than just La Campanella (lol), I’ll certainly come back to this video to study your technique. Truly incredible performance.
hum hum
Yep, Rousseau's version was too slow in 5:27.

This is absolutely incredible. One of the most amazing performances I’ve seen. Just the sheer speed, complexity, and mastery of the piece is breathtaking. Well done 👍
The speed and accuracy that goes into this is just mind blowing
I admire the difficulty level at which you are playing and am amazed by how much and how quickly you have uploaded. This piece in particular, is quite a killer! Your tempo is absolutely fabulous!
This is the best version of Mazeppa I've ever seen!!! Great job!!
That performance was so energetic, i'm surprised the keys didn't catch fire... Pure genius !...
Liszt is a madman, wrote some of the hardest pieces ever
You'd be surprised at how many pieces are harder than this. Not saying this is easy, far from it. I'm just saying, some of the more modern classical pieces are almost impossible to play, if not, completely impossible
@@jaymmor3963ofc rush e is impossible. Why are yall talking like it was the best piece

excellent. I loved this.
this interpretation of transcendental etude no. 4 is simply addictive. i keep finding myself coming back to it multiple times a day; you play it so beautifully and with so much musicality. you're incredibly talented and even though this is an old video, i look forward to your new uploads, too!

One of the best piece Ive ever heard.
how do you not even have more subs than this you deserve way more this piece is incredible
What a fantastic piece from Liszt! Two chords at the end remember me his Dante Sonata end with fantastic tremolos, looked to me the way he did to be recognized by his sounds, not only by all that virtuosity haha! Lovely, take a rest buddy you made my day start real good! My dream is to play those songs that make me happy

I’ve watched this video too many times lol. Good job Traum. Probably my favorite rendition of mazeppa.
Wtf. How does talent like this only have 3.22k subscribers?! Let's get this channel up like Kassia's. Amazing! You two are now the most skilled visualizer pianists on TH-cam I know.
Omg ur so underrated wtf!! That’s so amazing :D And I’m sorry for your injury, I hope you recover soon!
You played one of the hardest ( if not the hardest) songs. And you played it perfectly. You should be very proud of yourself!
The most thrilling part about this is it's on a digital piano and sounds so good!!!
That high octave at 1:09 always gives me the chills. Amazing job

I love this play! I mean others plays from others pianist is also great, but I think Traum's style is most compatible with me! :D
Who's here after Rousseau perform this masterpiece at his 3M sub stream?
Me and i must say, I am more Impressed with traum performance, but anyway rousseau perfomance is great to, but I much prefer this one
@@alexanfadel Me too, harder
@@aeroslothy Who did? Traum or Rousseau? (I'm not saying either did, I'm just curious to know why you think that).
Amazing performance
The changing colors was a really fun addition
Basically one of the, if not, the best colored led something pianists in youtube. All your pieces are in the slightly more difficult to the more difficult ranks, i must say, after i watched some of your vids, i immediately replaced rousseau for you as my weekly piano dose.
Thanks SK
Plot twist 🔀 he's rousseau
Why not watch them both?
Rousseau uploads basically almost only mainstream pieces to get the most views possible
Niccolo Paganini who cares?
He plays them beautifully.
This is the most difficult and impressive piece i’ve ever seen
Feux follets is 10 times harder.
@Andrew Reveno I can say from my own experience because have played and performed both of them, that at least for me mazeppa is nothing compared to feux follets in technical difficulty.
Sosta I guess I’ll take your word for it then lol! I think at a certain difficulty it become very reliant on strengths and weaknesses of an individual player as I’ve heard people say they are somewhat similar in difficulty, but that wasn’t the case for you, interesting.
Sure!
👍
can’t stop coming back to this
damn.. some parts of this piece seems crazy difficult, great job by playing it, im totally amazed
7:13 - 7:21 This part was played really well! Keep it up! :)
you are a very talented pianist, i don't know how you do it and how you play as well as you do today, my real congratulations, you are a super pianist !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this piece for me is the most did
Something I love about traum is that he plays it at the right speed instead of having it slowed down due to difficulty
Terrific - so exciting WOW!
