    Thanks much for 100k subscribers.:) When I first started TH-cam channel, I didn’t expect that my channel grows so fast. I believe that it was possible with your support and comments. I really appreciate everything you’ve done. I prepared “Winter Wind” with gratitude. My right hand is still in bad condition. But, I gave it my all. For the time being, I will focus to play slow and beautiful pieces. (I think that I should go see a doctor) Typically, I can’t reply to all comments, but I read most of them. Please leave your comments. Thank you so much!

      well, the name wasn't given to the piece by chopin. chopin didn't name any of his etudes, but the names were decided upon by critics later. chopin believed that his music could speak for itself without titles. it's kind of helpful to have titles though, because "op. 25 no 11" doesn't have the same ring as "winter wind"

  • @eliaschemist1863

    I'm not a musician, but I feel so moved, it makes me want to start learning to play the piano. This study is one of the most beautiful thing of Chopin legacy, and the presented playing is the best of its performances. It is fast, light and soft. The pianist does not keep her fingers on the keys longer that it nessasary. The hands move on the board quickly and strike the keys strictly according to the temp.The bass sounds very clearly, it enhances the left hand's contribution to the melody. It's so cute, when the pianist plays some left hand notes with her bent forefinger, keeping another ones curled into a fist. Thank you much, Kassia, for this outstanding playing! Hope your right hand is OK now.

      Recently, my friend and I found some people fooling around with a public piano and approached them. They asked us if we played. My friend turned to me asked me to play this piece. I sat down at the keyboard and started playing the slow beginning (which I messed up, adding to the illusion that I was a beginner). Everyone seemed politely disappointed. Then I got to the fast bit, and it sounded like everyone behind me had a very loud stroke and died!

      @@dhruvsawant9234 For me, it's definitely painful to play. By the time I get to the one pause in the piece (in the middle), my hands are tired. No other fast piece exhausts my hands so much. I can play fast music all day without my hands getting tired except for this piece. It's not the downwards chromatic runs that do it, either. Some of those up-and-down runs are a pain and prime nail-snagging territory, too D;

    잔잔하다가 쿠쾅쾅 매서운 겨울바람처럼 쏟아져서 깜짝놀라고 이렇게 잘치셔서 두번 놀라고 왜 아직 이분과 이노래를 몰랐을까?에 세번 놀라는 영상입니다. 잘듣고 갑니다. 감사합니다

    원템포로 자칫하면 반주가 경쾌해질수도있는데 웅장함이 그대로 실려있네요... 그리고 바람이 정말 매섭게 부네요!

    Holy shit... you learn fast! It was really a struggle when I attempted it (even memorized it), so twisty! Feels harder than some Liszt pieces I've attempted. Congrats on 100k, you deserve it! Keep em coming!
