@@averyty7885 this wasn't a painful étude to practice(speaking from personal experience). As long as you don't try to go too fast at the start and master the rotation technique at a slow speed, you wouldn't get hurt(as long as you don't practice it at tempo for like really, really long).
Heyyyyy everyone it was a joke btw!!! :D We're just saying it's a really hard etude. (though I imagine the years of practice it would take to be able to play something like this would sometimes be painful)
@@averyty7885 Even Charles Rosen said this etude was painful to play at tempo, and I agree with him. Once that unmerciful chromaticism kicks in, it just burns, unless you have a completely relaxed technique which not many have.
@@dhruvsawant9234 For me, it's definitely painful to play. By the time I get to the one pause in the piece (in the middle), my hands are tired. No other fast piece exhausts my hands so much. I can play fast music all day without my hands getting tired except for this piece. It's not the downwards chromatic runs that do it, either. Some of those up-and-down runs are a pain and prime nail-snagging territory, too D; Though I admit that when my hands are in good condition from having adequate time to practice regularly, it's not as hard as I first believed.
This is that love is truly about. A storm of emotions filled with joy and sorrow. I hope I could play this one day so my fingers could explain what my mouth failed to.

Hi, MrBromaba. Thank you for watching my performance. When I practiced this piece, I thought you because you played this piece before in your channel. Nowadays, did you quit you TH-cam channel? I just played a few Rach's pieces. I played etude 39-9 in master course. I think that piece is not popular. But, I will upload it in near future. What kind of etudes do you practice now?
@@Kassiapiano ohh I'd love to hear it! Please also upload less popular pieces you have already learned, the popular ones are just the tip of the iceberg. I didn't quit my channel but I started my studies at music college in October and I've been focusing on practice since then. Also I feel like I can't perform the classical repertoire properly on my digital piano, especially compared to how I play on the grand pianos of my college. Currently I'm still refining Op. 10/4 and I started Rachmaninoff Op. 39/1 two weeks ago. I'd also like to upload Hungarian Rhapsody 2 and Debussy's Reflets Dans l'Eau but it just isn't the same on my digital piano. @@MagnusBaumgartl Hi, MrBromaba.:) I hope that your channel is active in near future. Recently, I played digital piano in piano store. I was surprised that there is no weight of keys in digital piano. I didn't play digital piano before. I call this one the Carpal Tunnel etude
Oh wait thats like almost every chopin etude xD
Truue xD This being one of the most painful I'd imagine
@@dhruvsawant9234 For me, it's definitely painful to play. By the time I get to the one pause in the piece (in the middle), my hands are tired. No other fast piece exhausts my hands so much. I can play fast music all day without my hands getting tired except for this piece. It's not the downwards chromatic runs that do it, either. Some of those up-and-down runs are a pain and prime nail-snagging territory, too D;
Though I admit that when my hands are in good condition from having adequate time to practice regularly, it's not as hard as I first believed.
If you can play it slowly
You still can't play it quickly
You dickhead😂
lmao hahaha ling ling can tho
Just need to practice 40 hours

Beautiful piece! It’s really fitting for the season. My hometown just got an early winter blizzard a few days ago.
Hi, Lucias!!:) Thank you for your support.💕 My hometown is really cold. It snowed a lot. So, I played two pieces for winter.
The Dynamics are awesome. I love the way you play it, Kassia. Especially this piece.
Thank you, Kassia
I‘m in awe Kassia! Congrats for reaching 100k, what a milestone! You play this piece with so much passion and energy. Have you ever played a Rachmaninoff etude? I‘d love to see you play one or more one day :) but please check your hand first, it would be really bad if you overwork yourself and can’t play for a while.
I wish I had something like the silent grand piano you use for the recordings but I have no money or space for that :(
@@MagnusBaumgartl Hi, MrBromaba.:) I hope that your channel is active in near future. Recently, I played digital piano in piano store. I was surprised that there is no weight of keys in digital piano. I didn't play digital piano before. I thought, long time practicing with digital piano will make that fingering sensitivity and touching strength can be lost. Due to personal reasons, I should stay in USA. So, I bought Yamaha grand one to practice in USA. I didn't know that I will use it for TH-cam. I believe that you can get more great piano in the future. I know that you would be very busy in new semester. I hope that you will finish your repertoire well in this semester.
My favorite Etude from Chopin!
Congratulations for 100k!
