@@katherinoday1458 The interview is from 2002 not the 80s. And how is Jonathan Ross making Liza Minnelli shocked and uncomfortable and lost for words have anything to do with the “me too movement”. He has no class, whether that’s 2002 or back in the 80s.
Not sure he does ‘get away with it’. My toes were curling, Liza looked pretty uncomfortable at certain points. Good conversation is like a game of tennis, you have to keep the ball in the air. She was trying to keep the ball in the air but he was too committed to trying to make the audience laugh. No class.
@@ah7910 I think it was more to do with the humour. Jonathan is the quintessential Englishman and uses insult, and take the piss the humour which can bite. Liza was great and entertaining /fun and charming. This host was creepy with the sexual talk. I wonder if has done that with female guests. Liza looked shocked, and ready to leave!

Liza Minnelli is so adorable
What a great personality! So full of life and brilliant comic timing x
She seems so lovely
Such a lady.. so talented. Full of life...beautiful ❤
wow! I just adore her!
Thank you for sharing this, iv never seen this interview.
Why did he keep asking her gross sex questions? It annoys me he didnt let her finish her story at the end but the rest was great
They don't allow those kind of interviews since the Me-Too Movement. I think this is an 80's interview?

@@ah7910 LOL - Ooook - I watched to see Liza, don't know who he is or anything about him. Perhaps. you're right.
We are here for the full Malcolm Smith interview!¬
edit: i mean we landed here, this is still good.
It would be nice to know the year of this interview. Was it in the 80's or 90;s?
It says 2002 in the written intro

Oh ok - Thanks :)
@@katherinoday1458 You're welcome :)
It's easy to miss.
@@citizen1163 that was the same year she married that loser, David Gest
Who is the guy sitting with Liza
Someone called Andy.....
Gene Pitney
She is smiling but in her eyes you can see unhappiness. She knew something was wrong.
Who's the mute Waxwork on the sofa next to LiZa?
I've never heard of this show. I can hardly understand the host. This must be very old. She's divorced that guy a long time ago.
he's a British host!! the uk know him well ! of course it's old it's just after she married David Gest !!
Yes, Jonathan Ross is amazing, and this is definitely an old interview. Her marriage to Gest lasted less than a year before separating.
I can’t stand the host!!
how does he get away with that if it was someone else he would have been beaten up

Ew, I’m cringing trying to skip through his parts. As if she’d touch him with a barge pole

Hold on to those cleaning products; they will be worth their weight in gold soon!
he was grossly rude in parts I don't think he was polite to her.
@jeframp3805. And by contrast, Liza came across so nice! I wasn't expecting her to be so genuinely gentle and soft-spoken.
Super cringey
