We saw that already in Safari. Rovanpera did not take any risks, just scoring safely good points not trying to win. Still lost only about 7 seconds to Ogier, who took a lot of risks and drove on the limit. Rovanpera’s confident standard is at the same level as other top driver’s limit.

I have been in Jyväskylän Suurajot and Neste Rally Finland, but first time I was so young, that I can't even remember what SS we where and in Neste Rally I was in Ouninpohja, but Ouninpohja sadly is not in the rally anymore. The plan is to see one SS in Friday and another in saturday and maybe the power stage in Himos on sunday.
Why do you keep complaining about this? Rules are rules, they apply to every driver. If Kalles engine would have broken down during the Shakedown and they would have had to change it, Kalle would have gotten the same exact penalty. Your whining really makes it sound like you honestly think the rules should not apply to Tänak. He had bad luck, deal with it.
