Hi there, good choice of electronics there. I also purchased the Nimbus 550 with the full size servos mount kit. I’m planning to use the CGY760 to this build, wondering if you can do a setup video using the program box it came with. I’ll be using Futaba 14SG. Would really appreciate it very much, it’ll help me tremendously with this build. Would love to have the same ESC but will settle for HW ESC for now till I can save enough money to get the Kolibri. Again, thank you so much. I purchased the kit through HD, and will be purchasing my electronics there too till this build is completed. Thanks again.

I have these servos on my Kraken 580 at 8v and I can't tell the difference between them and full size HVs. Great servos, just not cheap!

In fact, you're running an almost identical setup to my K580, except I'm running an Xnova motor and the 6S LV-I Kolibri.

That esc alone is as much as the nimbus kit, hell no! Not worth it, that new Hobbywing V5 150A looks good though, let us know how that esc is doing in terms of reliability please, all my other HW have been good. Planning on adding another XNOVA with it and sending it!

Last Kontronik bought is 10 years old and still running strong.
No magic smoke, excellent internal gov.
      set and forget.

Same for my hobbywing esc’s, plenty of hardcore 3D pilots flying them without issue. The videos with kenny ko flying the nimbus 550 was with the new HW V5 150A, a 1/3 the price with that kind of performance sounds like a plan. Idc what reliability claims out there, 3X the price is just stupid.

      @@10fantic ESC have improved.
back then everyone were going in flames and gov were not working well except Kontronik. Avoiding just one crash paid for itself.
Maybe today it's different. But I dont know if I would fly 2000$ heli and trust a 200$ cheaper esc. I agree that the price is really steep.

Yeah it’s a $2000 heli with over priced components like that. And yeah everyone around me hasn’t had fires with their HW esc’s. Maybe that was many years ago but for the last 5 you don’t here that happening with them. Plenty of high impact pilots flying HW without issue.
