Many different designs for each type of project are also included. For example, there are hundreds of designs th-cam.com/users/postUgkxb2mhCug-GkCWrq69Ce2I0nM0D4QpxAqu for outdoor buildings, from small sheds all the way up to a complete stable. Choose whatever type of shed or storage house is right for you. Pick from fancy ones or more utilitarian designs.
The chair is beautiful, tying the armrest into the rocker is fantastic. I really love the storyboard and interactions you throw in on top of the covering the woodworking.
I just gave to tell you both that I don't build, but I love watching your channel(s)! As a freelance art teacher, I can appreciate how difficult it can be to create instructions and complete packages and projects that function for the masses. BRAVO! and nice shoes!
I really enjoyed the discussion of the different design decisions that went into the piece instead of just the instructional way to be able to build this specific thing. Hoping for more of that in the future!
Silliness aside, the design of the chair is freaking awesome. And honestly there's something about it that feels like it has more sentimental meaning to it than your other builds.
Shaun (and others), i'm still kind of a beginner, so i just have to say that the process you demonstrate around 9:35 (and shortly before and after) was SO helpful! i think i first saw you do this in an old video on your original channel. anyway, i recently built my first bed frame and used this method to taper each of the four posts. it was easy, gave me perfectly repeated cuts, and felt safe! thanks for teaching me! and great job on this rocker -- as a father of two, i know just how important this kind of furniture is during those first months.
Really happy to hear that! That is really what we are hoping to do with the videos and plans. Yes, building a specific piece of furniture is great, but more than that it is the techniques and procedures that can be used on other projects that is really valuable. I know that stuff was for me when I was getting started!
What a beautiful chair Shaun. Great craftsmanship and design. Cecilia is a very lucky niece because her uncle is amazing. Have I piled it on enough????? You both are rockstars in my book. Thanks for sharing. Felix
Beautiful, elegant and above all fresh. Contours through meters? Glorious. Who would’ve thunk it? Why, Boyd of course. Chock full of original thought, brother. Best Boyd design to date. Bravo!
I would have told anyone you used a C&C machine that is just how perfect it is! I almost didn’t watch the video because I was like “I don’t have the big machine doe I couldn’t even think about it!” 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 BRAVA!
First of all, you guys are one of the best duos of all time. You guys are super charismatic. Second, this chair is definitely an art gallery piece. It's just insanely beautiful, and one of those objects which you just can't decide the best angle. Bravo.
Love the little sketches and jokes you guys throw in to your vids, very few channels can pull that off and have it actually be funny... you boys are one of them
Is the whole seat attached by just the two screws on the back? Because these better be some mighty screws. May have been an idea to use bigger bolts with threaded inserts.
I have literally been wanting to start a channel for almost 5 years! I wanted everything to be perfect and I think that was the issue that was stopping me. Then I thought who cares, lets go. Great info😁😀
Awesome into and exit monologue.. beautiful piece. Will have to try to butcher my way thru creating these from teakwood for dock chairs at the cottage.
Shaun Boyd - Foureyes omg Shaun Boyd commented on my comment... I’m almost famous... LOL... Seriously you and Chris have the best channel for woodworking on the TH-cams...
Chris & Shaun, I've always enjoyed your individual channels and have even noticed design similarities; however, the two of you together produce the content I enjoy the most. I wish you both all the best.
Just found your channel, and I must say I am very glad I did. I have only seen 2 video's of your so far. Each video had you cutting tapers. I am surprised that you don't have a adjustable tapering jig.

Why didn't you show the chair rocking? Apparently I'm the only one that wanted to see that. 😑
No fking way the dont show that
Because it sucks to use I’ll bet you
😂😂
Damn. That intro though. They had us in the first half, not gonna lie.
Haha! We had fun making that one.
haha, i was like, "Damn, Chris is laying on the love!"
Okay, good, I'm not the only one thinking, "Uh, what the hell is happening here?" It was good laugh.
Totally agree with you 😀
The chair is beautiful, tying the armrest into the rocker is fantastic. I really love the storyboard and interactions you throw in on top of the covering the woodworking.
Brilliant, this design rocks.
Hiyo! Thanks!
You're god damn right it does.
That's a Beautiful Chair.

Glad to hear that! Thanks Matt!
Sense of humor between these two >>>>>>>
This is a masterpiece guys. Everything's perfect: the story, the project, the woodworking, the editing.
Thank you! Really appreciate that!
I love the way you guys add humor in every video. God bless you all!
A. 2. and D.
MAN, I LOVE YOU!! Great Home Alone reference! :)
Haha, glad you caught it. Thanks Joe!
@@shaunb66 Loved it! on 2 i was like... "didn't he say A?"
I say/write the same combos, but never thought to skip one. Definitely going to irritate the wife with this :-)
Shaun Boyd - Foureyes - Actually kind of expected that kind of humor from one so decorous!
Also a National Lampoons Vacation reference. Love it!
That modern rocking chair looks incredibly retro.
Silliness aside, the design of the chair is freaking awesome. And honestly there's something about it that feels like it has more sentimental meaning to it than your other builds.

Isn't that awesome? when you learn a new tip that makes a task that seems daunting actually easy and achievable, it's so rewarding.
Really happy to hear that! That is really what we are hoping to do with the videos and plans. Great project as usual. Little Cecelia will be proud.
What a beautiful chair Shaun. Great craftsmanship and design. Cecilia is a very lucky niece because her uncle is amazing. Have I piled it on enough????? You both are rockstars in my book.
Thanks for sharing. Felix
Your furniture and content are equally amazing!
Thank you!
“A, 2, and D” hahaha! Y’all have a brand of humor that speaks to my soul. Also, your furniture, videos, teaching is amazing.

I just discovered your channel and I am obsessed! As a beginner woodworker, this is so inspirational! Thank you!
Awesome! Thank you! Glad you found us.
Still the best woodworking channel out there...
Really appreciate that!
Beautiful, elegant and above all fresh. Contours through meters? Glorious. Who would’ve thunk it? Why, Boyd of course. Chock full of original thought, brother. Best Boyd design to date. Bravo!
Really appreciate that! This was a fun one to come up with. Thanks!
It's retro-moderne. Really like it's nostalgic aspect... like something from the Great Gatsby. Top shelf stuff.
Proportions ore perfect! Mid century modern, good call! Always looks great 🎉
Love the design and your guy’s humor. It’s pretty cool you guys work together now. Keep it up.
I would have told anyone you used a C&C machine that is just how perfect it is! I almost didn’t watch the video because I was like “I don’t have the big machine doe I couldn’t even think about it!” 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 BRAVA!

Shaun always kills it.
I certainly try! Thanks, man!
Firstly, I learned my lesson and hit the bell icon.
Secondly, I just sat on a rocking bench during vacation and loved it 😂

Gold. Out-freakin'-standing. Loved the intro and outro.
