Hi Tony and Deb. 5 hours wait for the RAC is a shocker, no matter how big or small the problem - they need to do better. Handy idea for the awning skirt if you're long term on a pitch. We use the Jaid Designs Draught Stoppa when we're pitched up on holiday - I'm the Scottish guy in the kilt on the thumbnail of our "Keeping Out the Darught" video of it ! Recommend that for shorter stays - it's reasonably cheap and easy to put on. Thanks again for an enjoyable video. Cheers. George and Trish

Tony ,dont worry about your TV. Covering it will generate condensation - just stow it away inside the caravan at the end of your weekend. If condensation was an issue they wouldnt fit the TVs inside anyway -best wishes to you and Deb (The camp caravanerrs)

Tony can you do a vlog showing the roof and the finish of the bonding and sealant plz. We have just bought a sprite major 4 EB and the finish on the roof is messy and shabby as if it's been rushed. I have been InTouch with the dealership and waiting for a reply. I know the manufacturer is under pressure to rush the vans out as customers are waiting but surely they need to QC the van before they send it out. Thanks in anticipation Phil,
Tony you need to have a look for draught stoppa on the tin tan net. Great piece of kit. Bought one after seeing caravan nut doing a vlog on them.

Another thing I do on my seasonal caravan is i completely stuff builders waterproof tarpaulins in the wheel space and wheels arches on my twin axle till nil drafts or wind gets through at all, they only £6 - £10 each in Wicks, Builders Merchants or B&Q I do not even have to bother with the limpit wheel cover, there is also no need to remove wheel arch either.
I also put them under the awning floor they help keep damp or moisture out cheap fix done it for years.
Love you two we had a wheel arch for our caravan we just attached it with velcro cant remember where I got it from it would save u undoing those screws will find out and let you know xx

Thanks for the vid Tony but people do not take your wheel arch off! Just infill behind it with a thin sheet of plastic or cardboard beer boxes then fit your draft skirt, doesn’t matter if it is slack as long as the gap is sealed ish and no need for that limpit flap! Speaking from experience.

Wouldn't think condensation would be a problem, or they wouldn't fit TV's in caravans, but maybe don't put it on straight away, let the awning warm up first.

Condensation is much more prevalent within an awning than a caravan. Especially summers end into autumn and during the winter.
Condensation can get into any electrical device if left within an awning.
Good to see your awning still intact - we were couple miles away in Warton and Wednesday night was worst we’ve ever experienced- thought the van was going to tip over!
Good tip about the intercooler pipe, good job that RAC bloke fixed it on the spot.
If you’d got towed to a garage who knows what they would have charged you !

We cover all our tv's even in the caravan when not in use.
Is the gunge, sealant to stop water ingress through the screw holes 🤔🤔
