We used the marque type pegs when we were on seasonal pitches. Talking of awnings we had an Isabella full awning for a while which gave us great space. Then for the last few years we invested in an Isabella 420 universal all season awning zinox poles. Absolutely fantastic awning and stood up to all weathers. Hope you enjoy the season.

Great video Tony could tell Deb wasn’t with you to supervise 😀😀😀 but you got it right in the end ask Martin about his wheel arch cover Draft Stopper I just placed an order for one after seeing it on his channel think it would be great especially on a seasonal pitch even when you get your new awning for a seasonal pitch I’d personally go for the Isabella all seasonal poled awning expensive but a great awning

We are on our second season on a seasonal pitch with a swift x850. We got the Isabella ambassador awning it's fantastic. Hope you guys enjoy yourselves this year their 👍
I love Isabella but their a bit expensive.but you never know Tony could be feeling kind 😂
It’s worth greasing the Akko wheel locks. I left mine on over winter and they seized. So couldn’t get the lock off easily. They recommend grease inside so the key releases the retaining nipple inside. You may get away with WD 40.

Mine came full of grease, bit of a pain in the backside to line up, but I've got it sorted now 👍. I'm happy to help you with your new van 👍
@@andyjenno yes ive never had a problem withthe locks in many yeras...it was just this time they weere dry no grease....an absolute pain to get off....the is also an infalabel mat youcan buy which allows you to put both wheel locks on. but very pricey...over 200quid. Another alternative is to use an alkoon one wheel and a normal exterrior lwheel lock on the other...milenko....in that way the insurance company are happy.....enjoy you new site.
I had mine on a seasonal site at higher bentham ( riverside) about an hours drive whoch is a really nice site in the dales...
That explains the editing bit being out of order :-) Oh no Alko wheels locks on a twin axle. Nightmare. I use 2 nemesis ultra, you need to be careful though, some insurers insist on Alko, I just rang around until found one that didn't need them. Stupidly difficult, if you're going to use them, have a look at Lock n Level.
I mean how many times can you say "Donkey Creek" in one video lol. Does look a good site though...

@@thecaravanaddys My Dad was Irish and he didn’t say Donkey, he’d say Dunkey. Dunkey Creek doesn’t sound quite as attractive 🤣
We watched the guy with the Alko wheel locks on his twin axle van it looked to be a right pain in the ass especially if it was in inclement weather.
First time on a seasonal for us too no doubt we will see you around the site

Then Alko locks . 😡 Always chock other side before jacking. Put a smudge of grease on the receiver ( important ) never use the brace to screw key always do by hand . These receivers are aluminium threaded and damage easily. The positioning of the receivers need to be mm perfect or your wasting your time. Good video …. Genuine mishaps . Enjoy your a holiday .
All right there. Great vlog. Normal folk and a caravan .Great viewing thank you. Just thought I would mention the gas bottle in your car at the beginning of the vlog( maybe someone lower down the comments has already,) If you had to make an emergency stop or had an accident that bottle would pass you on its way through the windscreen at the same speed you were traveling at. Put it in the boot against the back seat,which is designed to take an impact so I'm told. ( Said the police traffic officer that stopped me for the same thing a few years ago) Looking forward to watching more of the Caravan Addy's. Regards.

the large isabella awning's are cheap on ebay now compared woith silly money new...as everyone wants the inflatable....
