Very helpful, good tips! I'll be assembling these at some point, so definitely useful! Your explanations are nice and good to understand, so I also subscribed!
I had a hell of a time trying to get my 1.9 pitbull rock beast xl to mount on them wheels. I gave up and got a set of rc4wd ground hawgs and mounted them on the steel wheels
Mr1998jeepcherokee Your Story is very common. I mounted a set of Rock Beasts to my RC4WD wheels YEARS ago. I will never take them off. I can’t go through that again.
i have spent an intire day monting 4 wheels with super swamper tires and no foams, thats my fist time mounting beadlocks btw... and the last one made me crazy the inner bead kept poping off i was so tired that i gave up... now i need to get a 1/10 scale axle stub....
I’m in the middle of multi-hour assembly. I’m starting to think glueing is the way to go, I have never been so frustrated with a hobby. I think longer lug screws would’ve helped tremendously.
I bought these same wheels for mt TRX4 sport and tried to put them on some Duratrax 1.9 tires and they would not fit correctly on the wheel and when I drove it the wheel wobbled?
I guess i will have to buy other rims, instead of using the stock rc4wd steelies. I have tried your trick and others to get these Pitbull Growlers 1.55's mounted. As soon as I snug up on the center bolt, the bead squrts out.
Same thing here, but 1.9 I got the chrome bead lock wagon wheels for the growlers and having alot of issues with it popping out so I'm trying this trick next. Best of luck!
alan. t Yes, you can. Go to the RC4WD site, find the wheel you have, and scroll down near the bottom. They will usually have links to the parts that comes with the wheels, so the screws should be in there.
The struggle is real !
Dave's World 77 HAHHA, another one, eh? Looks like a common story
Great tip Joe! I've got a couple sets of those wheels, and know how much of a pain it is.
If this video helps even one person, I have done my job.

Awesome. I really hope it helped get the tires mounted without tossing them across the room. (I did that a few times)

Your an angel 🙏 ! Thank you !
I hope that worked for you. It keeps people from tossing then across the room and swearing a lot.
Great info - those wheels are a pain in the a$$ vs wheels like VP or similar
100% agree, but I REALLY like the old school design on them. So, I had to have them.
Perfect...you made a fantastic video. You are a great RC teacher. I love the magnetic mat and hardware sorter. Is the hardware sorter magnetic too?
The mats are magnetic. And if you mean by hardware sorter, the smaller mats that are sectioned off in 4 or 8 compartments. Yes, they are.

It really can be a labour of love. Or a test in patience.
Where do you get that thing that pops in the back while you are setting up the screws? Mine wheels do not have that tool.
It’s the end of a CVD from an SCX10
When I put together my rockbeast with axial 8 hole wheels. My fingers were dead, I couldn't use them for like two hours.
1000% believe it. I hope this helps
@@scalefreakgaming I been using 3d printed wheels on my venture. Their a lot easier to put together.
I haven’t tried that yet

I believe it. They can be a major pain.
Traxxas makes a good truck but try to buy mods etc from third parties if you can. Otherwise, you will be getting ripped off.
Traxxas has always liked to make their own stuff. And charge A LOT for it.

I wasn’t doing the zip around part
Nice instructional vid, but this stuff is overpriced trash. Amazon machined beadlocks for 2/3 the price is the plan.
