Hello, thank you for the video! :) I have a question for interpreting the results. I wrote a thesis and my hypothesis was « there is a significant relationship between brand image and masstige purchase intent ». I did Pearson’s Correlation and found a weak correlation (r = .273 and p < 0.001). From this result, could you explain what it concretely means? Can I say that this is representative of my data or the population? I’m confused as to if I can give recommendations such as working on brand image by only showing that there is a correlation. Could you please enlighten me?

The results are ok. there is a relationship between the variables, but for hypothesis you need to run regression and check if you are getting your beta and T values ok, I am sure with this correlation the regression values will be fine.
you search in the same channel for regression video and use it to test hypothesis.

I was doing analysis and i got beta value positive 0.026 but the sig.value is 0.6. So should i reject the hypothesis ? Does it mean x and y are negative relation?

yes, it will be rejected as beta is very low and also insignificant.

So linear regression , coefficient table showed the beta value 110 for iv and for meditator 510 and significant, value less then P value, it was .000 for meditator and iv was .058 when control m and with iv effect checked on dv. So is that partial meditation?
