    If you want to transfer quickly, you don't have to buy card readers to do it. You can also just plug a USB cable directly into the port on the side opposite the SD Card port on the MA2. I use this method when I forget to put the SD Card back into the drone and have to record videos onto the drone's internal storage. It's just as quick as the card reader method.

    I like using a computer to edit much better. On the other side of the drone from the slot for the SD card is another slot for a USB C connector. I use the short charging cable that comes with the drone and plug the C connector into the drone and the USB connector into the slot of my computer. I usually "cut" the video or pictures I took and "paste" them into a folder on my computer. That way my SD card is relatively empty and always ready for more.

    • @andrewsalas1154

      I plug in the cable to USB C connector and the other end into my PC and nothing happens. Am I missing a step?

    • @jamacianmecrazy
      @jamacianmecrazy 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@andrewsalas1154 You need to power on your drone for the computer to recognize the card or memory in the drone. If you use the direct method.

  • @GorillamansGarage

    Also... cache file size (format) is determined by whether you choose "HD or Smooth" in transmission settings. HD will produce 1080/30p files and Smooth will produce 720/30p files. Switching from HD to Smooth is supposed to produce either a 1080/30p or 720/60p display image but visual results have been negligible.

    Got my new card reader in the mail today. Quickly grabbed it out of the mailbox, threw my drone up in the air and excitedly went inside after a few minutes of filming to transfer the files only to be quickly disappointed that I didn’t read the Amazon listing at all and trusted your link to be accurate 😞 the lightning adapter currently linked for the US is not a card reader, rather a lightning to USB 3 camera adapter. My mistake for not reading the Amazon listing, but looks like I will be returning.

    Hey great video I'll have to get the sd card adapter. I have a question though on my air 2s. On the DJI fly app if you go to album (bottom left corner on home screen), look at the top of the screen it says 'dji air 2s' & 'app album' , what is the difference? The same video is saved in both categories and I have mine set to save to SD card but why does it save to both? Thanks

    • @AirPhotography
      @AirPhotography  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you don’t have a memory card and well recording or flying, it’ll just save it as a low resolution file in the app. Unfortunately, there’s no way to create the HD file afterwards.

      There’s a simple app on the iPhone cold sound recorder It works fairly well. Or you can do a screen capture and make sure you have the microphone enabled and that will record your voice and any ambient sounds as well. Then when you go to edit you place the main video track and then either the sound recording or the screen capture recording in the audio track in your editor
