I saw you beat Consort Radahn live a couple weeks ago, which was cool to see. Of course, shortly after you beat him, he's nerfed* This was a fantastic playthrough! *Fixing hitboxes to actually make dodges dodge and letting you actually see what's happening in the 2nd phase really isn't a nerf, but that's what people are calling it so whatever
During that odd mimic tear round where it wouldn't attack it looked like the mimic didn't have a weapon out, I think that it only had the spellcasting tool on and so that was why it wasn't pulling agro.
Correct. Based on that, I think the mimic doesn't have the ability to switch weapons, and he didn't have any attack spells equipped either, so the mimic was completely unable to attack.
my own excuse for why attempts 1 always do better than the next 20 is that you were going in blind on attempt 1 while on the next attempts we try to use what we learned, and its goes bad, cuz we didnt actually learn anything, 1:10:45 you summoned the mimic while your casting was seal equiped so its AI was busy casting spells instead of attacking 1:35:15 im reminded of how Dark souls 2 did it, in Shrine of Amana, a late game area, mind you, if you had ran out of human effigies you could pray at a altar and get turned human again
I wouldn't have wanted to do this without a shield. After I won, I made myself summonable for him, as I used parries to help me win and wanted to do some more of that, but my parry timing didn't work in multiplayer. I only beat him again when one of the summoned players was doing something really broken.
Hi! im new here, gotta say, really cool! well done!!! I changed from a Katana build to a giant f**k off club and the biggest shield i could find to the point he did almost 0 damage to me to beat him. you did GREAT! Miquella, having to have given up all parts of himself to become this god thing, including love, would not have been able to be a benevolent or gentler anything, and i don't think he was a good guy to begin with. Having the power to make others fall in love with him, i doubt Radahn ever had a choice, and likely has been a manipulated really non consenting puppet since that event in the last cutscene :/
Know this is old and said it before, but congrats again for beating Rahdahn. They recently nerfed Rahdah too, so you beat the harder version. Know this game wasn't your jam, but still think you did a good job beating these crazy bosses. Do think a Faith focused build is also punished by the game, so you were playing with kind of a handicap. Hope next Fromsoft game is more your jam.
At least they made holy much better in the DLC. I feel like he mostly made it harder on himself by not using any defensive options; no elemental talismans, no real armour, no opaline hardtear.
@@TheMARStudios Yeah, although he seems only resistant to it in phase 2 (which admittedly is the largest part); phase 1, holy does a surprising amount of damage. My sacred rapier did close to 8000 damage on a critical in phase 1.

Nerf is a nerf no reason to make things complicated, they also slowed down one attack (the infamous cross cut) and extended a lot of his recoveries.

@@inciaradible7144 Yup, though making the final boss heavily resistant to it is still rough.

Congratulations.
Was this after patch 1.14? I think Fromsoft nerfed Consort Radahn a bit in this patch.
nope, prior! And with settings tweaked to make him harder for multiplayer.
