- This video was a long time coming but welcome to our new TH-cam studio. It's not much but it's ours! This studio setup has been through a couple iterations but the main thing was because we were renting we couldn't really do anything with the space. We finally own this apartment and we can do whatever we want to it!

I missed so many cool things that the studio does as well. It has an overhead camera system built into tension rod system. EVERYTHING is voice controlled if I cannot be bothered to use any remotes. This includes closing the curtains too.

I know this feeling, the garage at home is no longer a garage. It is a teaching studio for the wife plus an area i have claimed for PC build and filming area. Now it's being changed again to be a streaming studio for the wife with my build/ film area, I know all about tripping over cables, lights come crashing down and tables way to small and nothing is ever completely finished before it all gets changed again.
It looks great! You would not know how small this area was by watching your videos. Fantastic job on organization and effectively utilizing every ounce of space available. Definitely, gave me some ideas! Thank you

Love this update, gives some of us a glimpse into how studios are setup for filming. It's amazing what you can do with a small space
the property market in your area of sydney (i am in the same area of sydney as you) is crazy especially given the knock down rebuilds on large blocks
It's honestly crazy. We were planning to buy a house this year but we figured that buying the place we were renting made more sense at the time.

Great vid guys! I enjoyed seeing how things were put together behind the scenes.
The wall panels worked out a treat. I'm seriously considering putting them up at my place (I have horrible besa blocks).
I'd be very interested to learn how you did the LED strips. I've never soldered before, so I haven't attempted anything beyond those arlec smartgrid ones from bunnings. But hey, if you put up a how-to tutorial vid I might get confident enough to give it a go!

My wife and I are in Melbourne, and we've only moved to another rental last weekend, but this is the final stretch for us to put together a deposit and get our own place, and you best believe I'll be treating the walls and ceiling in a similar fashion once we eventually have our own place... Don't suppose your dad knows any rock-solid brokers in Melbourne? :D
Nah he doesn't I dont think. It was good having him do all the negotiating stuff so I could focus on continuing to make videos and not stressing about all that.

Yeah it is. We've been shooting on it for about a year. We've done quite a few videos about our gear and workflow already 😁 People just don't care about what we do anymore 🫠

As for the cameras. We primarily shoot on the S5IIX and a bunch of Blackmagic cameras. We are changing some of that in the next 6 weeks and will be doing a video about that.
