Place in skillet and fry on each side for 1 minute. 10. Add onions. 11. Add slurry, 2 cups of broth, and worcestershire sauce, then stir in well. 12. Cook on high heat until juice thickens.

Make sure it’s not actually low copper. Copper is needed to mobilize iron, so without sufficient copper, iron is just stored in the liver with nowhere to go!

Heres a little tip for you. First fry up some bacon crispy. Take the bacon out and then do all your spices, onions and fry up the liver in the bacon grease. Plate your delicous liver and onions...crumble the bacon and sprinkle over the liver. Now we're talking! Trust me on this.

That made tender liver with onions and a light sauce, and we called it 'braised'. We had boiled potatoes with ours. My family thought that fried liver was too strong tasting. My late mother-in-law liked the quick, 5 minute fry up, though, and was glad to find someone else who liked it.

I’ve tried this many many times and it’s good delicious fantastic every time except I had an extra 2 cups of beef broth and a little more flour to get more gravy. And I added, diced, broccoli and sliced mushrooms, That way I can have it on mashed potatoes.

Try using white pepper instead of black pepper and soak your liver in milk for 60-90 minutes, let rest until room temperature then cook
