Nanjiani is a wonderful actor but he's also a HIGHLY underrated storyteller. He really knows how to build narratives and punchlines. I could listen to him for hours.
I feel like Kumail just came in and started talking before Jimmy even get to start asking and the time is finished and Jimmy had to mention that he was there for his movie. That was a fun interview. And I love Everything Bagel. I hope she lives up to 100!
It's good to have guests that are naturally funny, this way the segment flow has organic comedy, the hosts doesn't have same pressure to carry the segment on his shoulder and they catch a break and enjoy with their real laugh!!!
If you liked this, you'd love his standup comedy, which he did for many years before ever acting in a movie. He put out only one special: Beta Male, but had a show with Jonah Ray called The Meltdown. Both were great.

I've had three cats who lived past the age of 17 and one is 18 and a half years old now. The oldest cat has lived to 33 years old. Cats Rule and are way Smarter than any Politician. 😻😻😻
Mr. Nanjiani is pretty right about passage of time with cats. Dogs get grey etc. but cats look/act much the same for most of their adult lives. Also he is frigging brilliant :)

Sweet Kumail or Emily or anyone, we had a cat live to 21 and you can find videos of cats at 30 eating scrambled eggs and looking grumpy. I'm guessing Bagel has kidney issues - get the prescription food, put out an extra water bowl or fountain, give wet food as a snack for hydration, ask if any of her meds can be transdermal or liquid in a syringe. Two choices for pilling: Get on your knees and back up the cat until its butt is against you. When you do the head tilt and the jaw pressure to pill them, they're going to back up and there's nowhere to go, just you. Option 2 is to get a partner, take a large towel and roll cat into Purrito, then one holds them while you try to angle your pill drop. Finally, if you can afford it, look up a mobile vet. They come to you! Meds, checkups, helping make sure your layout is good for bones and joints. When the time comes, they are the absolute sweetest and it's a familiar and comfortable ending where you don't have to make that final awful drive to the vet.
Even tho Kumail still looks 🥵 (great stylist btw), he is funny and down to earth as ever!!! 😂 Also, I still refer to my 15 yr old cat as my “baby” so I can completely relate to how Kumail feels abt Bagel! 😺
