Phil deserved to lose after that disaster call at 25:40. There was about 20 possible hands better than his 5's, Art was calling/betting on each turn which is a sign of strength, and Phil still calls. Once again... Phil falls victim to the camera.

the mistake he made was calling the river bet with only 55. He had to suspect he was beat at that point after his flop and turn bets both got called. Checking also protects his showdown value. Finally, if he was really going to call anyway, he should have put a small blocker bet out like 1 million and saved himself some chips as he clearly cannot call a river raise.

I don't understand these announcers at all. I know they can see the hands like us. 3:05 Marvin mucks his A-8. It's even mentioned, so we know the announcers saw it and acknowledged it. Then, after the J hits on the flop, the announcers at 3:41 state that "... he has 5 outs now and needs an ace or a jack." But, we just saw an A get mucked. We all saw it. You saw it. We're just going to pretend that it's still in the deck? And this happens all the time with these announcers ... constantly counting as "outs" those cards we already know are out of play.

You guys need to upgrade your hand displays to show stack sizes and positions, it's 2023. You're still rocking the 2005 displays.
