The nice thing about a hand like 44 is if you do flop the set, it is just so hard for people to put you on it. And if you don't, at least it's pretty easy to fold it.

I can't believe Phil didn't keep bluffing when the 5 hit the river. (last hand) That was the perfect bluff card. 3rd spade and a single Ace makes the wheel. A large river bet puts a ton of pressure on those 9s.
He was still steaming from the first 2 hands. Just goes to show you how being on tilt affects your play..

"Pressure on those 9's". Easy to say when you see the cards. That flush or 5 might have been the exact cards she was chasing. His check was the right play. If she did chase he would have lost big time with a bluff. People can say all they want but Hellmutt doesn't have a gazillion bracelets for nothing. He knows what he's doing.

At the 6:20 mark, crazy to see Bracy fold a 10+Q off-suit before the flop. What is he wanting an A+A?
No, this is actually quite smart. You have to read the table. Phil is short stacked, just did a small re-buy for the revenge. He is tilted. Very likely to go all-in in the next turn, bluff or real. You have to make assessment, are you going to handle that all-in with Q10, or pick a next battle? He made a wise choice to let that tilting round go by.
At the 4:40 mark, Bracy has a 6+5 off-suit and the flop has a 7+4 off-suit and he folds before the turn and the river. He had a great shot a straight if either card produced an 3 or a 8. Bracy does some strange stuff.
The river was a 3 so Bracy would have had a winning straight of 7+6+5+4+3. Man I would like to play against a player so clueless.
@@dondee5439 We'll play devil's advocate for you. On T74, Bracy with 65 has a draw to the nut straight, however 89 is a better straight draw. There is also a Bet, Call and Re-Raise before action gets to him. He folds, which is standard given the action before him. The turn produces another 7 giving Kelly a full house so even if Bracy stuck around to make his straight on the river, it was irrelevant because he was drawing dead on the turn.

If it´s a tournament then then there are limits but this is a cash game so you can rebuy as many times you wish.

Hard to argue Phil’s talent, that being said, if someone is getting much better cards than you at the time it’s hard to win.
Phil's talent lies in tournaments. In cash games he's terrible.
I agree he sucks at cash games but I wouldn't say his talent "lies" in tournaments. His skill set is very well suited for tournaments, hence the success. It just doesn't translate well to cash games.@@billybegood466
