For a daily driver , Honda’s are very well built.
@Internet Guy i have a 2010 si bought new and have 52k kms on it. No major problems so far except for a evap check engine light while my wifes 2014 honda accord had a starter problem at 45k. I used to like honda but I think they are banking on their name instead on building quality cars like they did in the past. Not planning of getting rid of my si considering all the new tech that they are putting in new cars is only asking for major headaches on the long run
I never thought of building such a desk. Such a space saver, and the ease of replacing components with a design like this is a game changer. Even for a first time build I commend you good sir in a job well done!

Nah, he meant ricer, it's a term used in the car world to define those that do cosmetic mods and think it makes their car faster, or who try to act like they know everything but in fact don't know shit. It stands for race inspired cosmetic enhancement, and most of the time it's a Honda.

Already stated but; Clear narration - clean cuts (Video editing and metal-work). Quite an upgrade from previous bench. You now have a "real" desk.

So glad to see someone make a custom enclosure that doesn't include RGB (that you wouldn't even get to see anyway) or liquid cooling.
That title really got my attention. My eyes get hurt with all those RGB strips teenagers love all around their house: it starts on the PC, then the whole desk, then the rest of their bedroom... I wonder if it is possible to use the PC with the lights off...

whatever info you have would be useful :) overall dimensions etc and the overall design would be a great help - as the video is often a little hard to follow in working out exactly what is attached to where underneath

The problem with this video is it's given me false confidence I can achieve something even close to this. I would so love a setup like this but I would absolutely mess it up if I tried.

Ali Rind provide me with the parts of the PC and the money for the wood and I'll do it for free.
This is not difficult. Most wood work is not difficult. But as with everything, you have to learn how to do it first. This is something most people could build after a couple weeks of practice with the tools.

I have been thinking of building something similar since seeing a Ron Paulk video about a plywood desk that sits on legs similar the shape you used. Yours has a much more attractive aesthetic.

You've inspired me twice today. First, with the mini ITX custom case build - I was fretting about finding an exact 'cube' case that I could use as the lower level to a Tardis case I was going to mod for my wife. Your bent aluminum approach showed me that I can mod the whole 'Police Box' fairly easily.
But this desk case solves another problem. I have a beloved computer desk with a very wide, but otherwise useless keyboard drawer. I'm going to use the steel mesh approach to build a drawer insert for mounting discreet components. Since I love tinkering with the PC, this will allow me to pull out the drawer and admire my rig...
Thanks - sometimes the simplest DIY approach is the best, even if cool cases are available at reasonable prices. Nothing beats home grown... :-)

I mounted my PC inside a solid oak cabinet with a slide out draw for the keyboard+mouse :D
The hardest part is cable management and making it neat. I thought cooling would be an issue but that was the easy part, with only 2x 120mm fans on the rear blowing in it already runs cooler than inside my Corsair case! The cool air being sucked in forces the warm air out of the gaps at the front.

Very nice work but why, when you have put so much effort in to the desk, did you mount the gpu upside down instead of showing off the "nice" side of it?
1. It's an OEM Zotac GTX1060 so it has no 'pretty' side.
2. This way GPU fan has better access to outside air.
3. It's not that the desk has window (never!) so I'm not bothered at all...
4. That black PCB is kinda sexy.
Have you thought of mounting them at a slight angle so the rear edge of each item is maybe an inch of the horizontal so as to provide a bit of a better viewing angle if you also put a see through top on it, I think that would look kinda cool... oh yeah btw damn those socks are brilliant
Thing is the pcie cable can't be twisted that much, certainly not enough to 180 the GPU

Might I suggest 'soft close' drawer bars. They make it so the the drawer closes lightly reducing shock of closing the PC drawer. Loved the build!
Such a clean, beautiful and functional end result! The lizard brain in me would be tempted to make a small piece of glass countertop to watch all the partes doing their job and toss some LED on it, but sério amazing project I’m in awe

Most of those "i have a 10k workshop" videos feature a garage with under 1000$ in equipment that has been bought over years as tools are needed, and people who don't know what their talking about just assume they are really expensive.
Maybe in your country, but actually in Brazil where i reside, things can get pretty expensive really fast. For you to have an idea, a reasonable table saw goes for the 1000$ here.
Great Computer Desk, I especially like the draw where the whole PC goes. I don`t have the skills or the tools to do that but wish I did.

This isn't it, but handheld CNCs are actually a thing now! They're really cool, look them up :)
its NOT a cnc machine its a router , cnc means that its controlled by a computer (wish is possible)

i like te idea , been thinking on making a pc in side my desk myself but i was thinking on just bolting it down inside a cavity from the top then put a glass plate over the whole desk
This is definitely one fancy look of PC but I can tell you, I did that way back in 2000 when I stuffed my AMD Athlon 700 into my desk drawer, and here is my advise. You are not going to open your drawer every day or probably not even to open it until your PC is shut down because of power outage. So you really don't need all those fancy plates to station parts, the key to success in desk drawer pc is good airflow to control temperature only because most of the time desk is wood and it's not good conductor for temperature control.

I found your table amazing, but you can imagine a way to leave that temperature display in a visible place, like an open one that you did to dissipate the heat on the table, maybe with a glass cover, would look amazing.

I was going for the 'clean AF' looks - hence no windows and no RGB. I can control fans connected to that controller through a desktop software or a mobile app.

Interesting build. I'm wondering if this is a good solution for a water cooling. According to the my research, radiator should be positioned above the water pump. Otherwise air will be trapped in the water pump which significantly reduces performance of the cooler...

I've had a thought of a "Old School" A Fancy type of Rolltop Desk converted into a Stealth Computer desk with Monitor built Horizonitally into the desk. So It's all in one, and Lockable. Something that would fit well in a Old Victorian House Library or a Old Bank Office setting. Would love to see something like that Happen. Resale alone would be worth it, if it was well planned out. Love this desk!, You gave me idea's lol. subscribed.

yes but you could cut square hole in the front panel of the pc slide and add glass and put the thermal screen behind it so you will be able to see it without opening, also there is plastic spiral thing that is used to hold cables together instead of using duct tape...
But the whole point was to make it look like a regular desk and not a desk PC ;)
