20 years ago I had a 1971 F600 with a 300-6, 4 speed and single speed rear axle. It had an oil bath air filter. Top speed was 50 mph unless you went down hill and hit 55 mph. It needed lots of work so I sold it. But I just loved driving it.
We had a old GMC with a 50 mile a hour mechanical governor I went down a step grade and let the clutch out that took care of the governor but you still couldn't hardly hit 60 with it
I had a 1954 f600 with a gravel box. 41000 original miles. Went to the scrap yard. Kept a f600 1961 winch truck and a 1961 Chevrolet Apache 20 with hoist under the 8' box.
nice clean truck! IDK but the top speed govern can be adjusted higher in some of them holley equipped carbs. I'm not sure on the early ones. Requires moving a spring. The FE exhaust manifolds always leak! That tachometer is a rare piece if I'm not mistaken...
If im not mistaken the 330 was also used in the uhaul rigs from ford, i learned that from zipties and bias plies, it may have been a 331 but im not the best at remembering, ive fried my memory with drugs of all kinds to the point where i cant remember how to play the guitar, i had played for about 10 years and i cant even pick a lick

That thing has a nice rhythmic beat to it
Nice truck clean cab and sheet metal. That 331 should also have a forged steel crank, also the grill is for a 66. Good runner by the way 👍

What year is the old Ford 4wd next to it if haven't seen one of them in probably 40 years that would make a good video too
It's a 1959. Doesn't run yet was a flood victim. I have a walk around video on my channel with more to come.
I just tossed out one of those electric brake controllers!
