im super excited for when the game is running as it should be of course, but ngl theres something really eerie and fitting about all of the visual glitches that really adds to bloodbornes atmosphere lol, i kind of love it in its own unique way
I know yall are excited and anxious, I am too. But do not play this game until textures and lighting are at console quality at least, despite being playable with audio. Bloodbornes one of the best masterpiesces gaming has to offer, each detail is perfection and the vibes and ambientstion are the best, they are what elevated the game. You can only play it for the first time once don't ruin it.

PS4 uses x86 architecture. I imagine its a bit more straightforward than prior consoles that use a totally different/unrelated architecture. Not a coder tho so im just making a semi-educated guess. @@Chaotic-Evil

Well, this is pathtracing, and unless you want to torture yourself, you wont use pathtracing in any game with a 4060 lol, but you can just use default lighting (runs a lot better most likely) whenever it is actually in a playable state

If you already own a PS4 then buy it. 1080p inconsitent framerate is annoying but the game quickly makes you forget about the technical issues. Plus you get the multiplayer component. However, if you need to buy a PS4 console I'd say wait, save your money and maybe upgrade your gpu to a 4060 or some other mid range gpu. By this time next year this game ought to be optimized enough to perform significantly better than on console with that kind of a setup.
