A great birth story. I’ve had 7 hospital births and my latest one was a home birth. Would hands down do a home birth again! I loved it! Would really recommend it.
Loved your birth story!! Congratulations!! Had a similar birth, contractions where 2 to 6 minutes immediately, arrived to the hospital with 2cm dilation. They said I could go home and come back later, but as it was my second baby they offered me to stay if I felt like. We decided to stay and when I arrived to the hospital room I started to feel the need to push, they came to check on me and the head was right there🤭 One hour after arriving to the hospital she was born. Somehow I went from 2 cm and a high cervix to being fully dilated and having a baby in 1 hour! Also had back labor😋What I did was eating 7 dates every day 3 month before labor, and during labor I drank a lot of water and moved a lot. Maybe this helped.
Cervical checks greatly increase chances of infection. Love your story, btw!!
