The difference between CC and those who celebrated last night is that while a win is a win, the team blew an 18 point lead and almost lost. CC is reflecting on her performance and what she can do going forward to make sure that every point counts. A true leader is hardest on herself.

She will not do well on this team and this is a disaster waiting to happen. There needs to be a coaching change if she is to survive on the Fever. If not, CC will eventually crumble. No one can survive what she is going through forever.
It wasn't a poor performance, Sides has decided to build the team around Boston and Clark will just be a role player. In the future she will only have low scoring games due to this strategy. After the Olympic break the fans will be gone so they will trade her at the end of the season for someone who fits into the Fevers scheme with Boston at the center.

This team is developing in a positive way. Boston Mitchell both had great games … that is a huge positive. And they won !!! Clark is drawing double and triple teaming. The offense had to adjust to that. This dynamic forces other players to score. Once they become consistent scoring threats, the defense will be forced to lay off of CC a bit. Samelson and Wheeler and other shooters need to hit wide open shots too. (Why are they practicing extra) This team is progressing !!

I'm gonna start by THANKING, CAITLIN CLARK, for re-energizing my interest in the WNBA. Back in the early to mid 80s , when l first heard that the league was coming... l was excited and said .. "It's about time!!!" That's how it started. But soon, it became apparent! These ladies are good, but they're not in the same class as the guys , it wasn't even close! I gave a few years, and it gradually became WORSE! To the point where I just couldn't force myself to watch anymore... Wide open shots that were missed by a mile , close break away lay- ups missed so badly , over and over again. I stopped watching and went back to NCAA BASKETBALL. If the NBA wasn't going on. Now, decades later, the fire that l saw in players and the games as far as the shooting skills that l had seen back then started to shine in the form of CAITLIN CLARK! Her IOWA games simply blew my mind, and l was excited once again for WOMENS BASKETBALL!! I was like, ALRIGHT, let's get this party started all over again!!! In the span of less than a year... I am now witnessing an absolute CLOWN SHOW of this league of WOMEN whose league seemed to be on a clear course to RUIN, and now with a rising star, with pure marketing abilities to sell the women's sport as far as business?. Being crucified by the very ladies in her sport that she is trying to not only play in but elevate!!! What on GODS green earth are you ladies doing? Why are you all sabotaging your own DYING SPORT? You're giving her teammates too much credit - if they WERE good, she'd be making them better but I think the fact that she seems to be the only one on the team giving the ball away to others only to not get it back, like, ever shows that she's the only one out there trying to play as part of a TEAM. The rest of them are out there only for themselves, for the most part. Look at the Mystics game - know what went really right that game? Her teammates actually got the ball to her and set her up with screens - they could be performing as a team like that every game, but no one else on the team wants to. She's basically alone out there and STILL has 219 points in 14 games.

I'm gonna start by THANKING, CAITLIN CLARK, for re-energizing my interest in the WNBA.
Back in the early to mid 80s , when l first heard that the league was coming...
l was excited and said ..
"It's about time!!!"
That's how it started.
But soon, it became apparent!
These ladies are good, but they're not in the same class as the guys , it wasn't even close!
I gave a few years, and it gradually became WORSE!
To the point where I just couldn't force myself to watch anymore...
Wide open shots that were missed by a mile , close break away lay- ups missed so badly , over and over again.
I stopped watching and went back to NCAA BASKETBALL.
If the NBA wasn't going on.
Now, decades later, the fire that l saw in players and the games as far as the shooting skills that l had seen back then started to shine in the form of CAITLIN CLARK!
Her IOWA games simply blew my mind, and l was excited once again for WOMENS BASKETBALL!!
I was like, ALRIGHT, let's get this party started all over again!!!
In the span of less than a year... I am now witnessing an absolute CLOWN SHOW of this league of WOMEN whose league seemed to be on a clear course to RUIN, and now with a rising star, with pure marketing abilities to sell the women's sport as far as business?.
Being crucified by the very ladies in her sport that she is trying to not only play in but elevate!!!
What on GODS green earth are you ladies doing?

I'm from Missouri the show me state, having the potential and solid consistent performance, I 'm on the CC team, records broke, and College accomplishments are all history, yesterday is history show me! don't tell me of: why put so much on her plate, she the face of the WNBA, she just wants to play Basketball, past performance doesn't predict future performance. the only thing is your performance at that time, considered the NOW!
Considering she's playing against both teams, this is what happens. How many times did her own team mates pass the ball to her? From what I've heard about the game (I'm not watching any of this BS) they never passed the ball to her. Women are their own worst enemies. Guess they'd rather stick to playing the victims than ever actually make the game popular and profitable.

You're giving her teammates too much credit - if they WERE good, she'd be making them better but I think the fact that she seems to be the only one on the team giving the ball away to others only to not get it back, like, ever shows that she's the only one out there trying to play as part of a TEAM. The rest of them are out there only for themselves, for the most part. Look at the Mystics game - know what went really right that game? Her teammates actually got the ball to her and set her up with screens - they could be performing as a team like that every game, but no one else on the team wants to. She's basically alone out there and STILL has 219 points in 14 games.

CC actually is doing great when you realize the stress she is going through. Think about it most people if they were treated like she is would walk out on a regular job. Knowing some of your idiot teammates hate you you coach really dislikes you who would even want to show up for a game. Very depressing to say the least. She is a fighter and a great player thats why she will get though this. There is a lot more with her than against her. Her parents raised her the right way. I have never watched a basketball game in my life. When I happened to pass a video of Caitlin I became curious and decided to watch it. I enjoyed watching her play and seeing a woman that works hard and her work is play. I still won't watch men's basketball.
