    Ruckus was the board with the most customization regarding the truck's movements. As a result, it was a board where you had to find a setting that suited your weight and riding style. These aspects make it a board that some people want to challenge, and others may find difficult. In my case, it was a board that gave me quite satisfactory performance when carving or riding on various terrains. I will update my review of Ruckus' truck setup once the hardest red bushings arrive.

    Thank you for the review! This board seems like an innovative and interesting board for the money. I wish you'd have touched more on the carve and turning radius, especially compared to other more traditional truck systems. I'd also like to hear your thoughts comparing this to the N3... I know the N3 has more power and range, but I'd like to hear how the riding dynamics compare and which you prefer.

      I can understand this perspective but a lot of initial innovations began by first being proprietary. Including several early channel truck bushing types. It’s hard to be innovative and push the sport forward if only looking at the past and what presently exists.

      We noticed the noise also at Propel while watching his video. Much louder than all our other builds. Not sure if the microphone setup was just super sensitive or near the noise or what. It doesn’t sound anywhere near like that when riding it on other builds and also not that loud. His microphone is very strong though. You can hear birds in the distance in some shots. Not sure I’ve heard that in any other videos either. It’s almost as if his mic is picking up on the motor’s magnetic resonance.

    never got speed wobbles??

    • @kevo1110
      @kevo1110 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Not never, but the whole point of the damping system here is to help mitigate the risk of speed wobbles.

    • @mikemenard4543
      @mikemenard4543 24 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Mike from Propel here. There’s an academic research paper out that basically proves that it is impossible to stop external or human-created forces that first trigger the onset of a wobble sensation and we obviously agree but the hydraulics help control the speed at which a deck tilt can occur and at high speeds that is the difference between a wobble spiraling into chaos or just feeling like a manageable sway that you bring back under control.

    전 2017년 부터 보드에 댐퍼를 적용해 써왔습니다
    그것은 아주 좋은 것 입니다
    RUCKUS 는 샤프트 방식 댐퍼를 사용하는데
    샤프트가 댐퍼 몸체로 들어갔다 나왔다 하면서 샤프트에 붙은 먼지나 오염 물질이 들어가 오랜 기간 사용시 정비가 필요 할 수 있고
    우리가 생각 하는 것 보다 뒤쪽에 많은 돌들이 튑니다

    • @mikemenard4543

      Not from a company that’s been around half a decade. The channel truck has been around a long time. Dampers have been in use on motorcycles a long time. We combined both to perfect the channel truck.

    • @BN99239
      @BN99239 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@mikemenard4543 I understand the idea behind it, but in practice, that's a lot of settings for beginners to mess with and then could have it set up in such a way that their first few rides may not be enjoyable. As for channel trucks, that's not new since a lot of mountain boards use them, but the shocks and springs are different from most board on the market. Not saying they are bad, but just saying that it is an extra step to get it serviced or replaced since you can't just pick these parts up from most places. Again, this would only apply to complete beginners. Anyone that is a somewhat mechanically inclined may be okay with tinkering around.

Our Endeavor and X4 series are now multi-gen products so our goal is always to make things as easy for customers to maintain long term.
