Hi Doug 😘 I don't care what you find or don't find, I still love you! You guys are going to have to hit this field again this fall, all that fresh manure will make a great crop for the farmer 😁
Great series..... awesome location you have found. (22:01) "We just told ya." .......because Paul's word always turns out to be correct.....he's never wrong.
Wow that place is just incredible! Great finds all around. U guys killed it. Doug had me crackin up with that wheatie. Thanks again for rockin my shirt Jason. All the best. Hh. Joe.
That's awesome Doug! My shirts have been bringing a lot of people luck. If you guys ever have room for another guy on a hunt let me know . I could probably make the drive. Joeredcorn50@gmail.com All the best Doug. Hh. Joe.
Thanks for another great detecting. Geez, you guys were raking in the finds. I bet you are counting the days that you can go back to the stagecoach road!
Farm field coppers around here come out rough from years of fertilizer. Keeping by them moist until we can get home to clean might help with the whatever details are still left.
Awesome finds! Im fairly new to detecting, so I was happier than anything today when I scored a 1946 wheatie. My first found wheat penny. I finally was able to adjust my cheap detector to pick up coins instead of nails and screws. Only downside (for some reason) it won't pick up nickels. In order to block out the garbage, it had to block nickels. All good though. I made 73 cents today. Lol. Got a 1966 quarter, 4 clad Rosie's, 4 copper Lincolns, and 4 Zincolns. Who knows what ill find with a better detector. 😃. Thank you guys for making these videos. Theyre sooooo inspirational to me.
Awesome you dug a wheatie. I look for wheaties because where there is wheat, there could be silver. If you like digging old coins you have to go to 50's and older neighborhoods. Curb strips can be rewarding in the older neighborhoods. Out here in the west with the drought, poeple have quit watering their curb strips, and some even quit watering their lawns, and those make great places to hunt. Those curb strips are owned by the city, not the homeowners. Just show respect and if someone thinks you are digging on their property, move on, you will not win that arguement. I have dug 1800's coins, silver and copper. I also dug a 1921 silver morgan dollar, and a lot of silver halfs, quarters, dimes and wheaties and Indians, along with gold and silver jewelry. If or when you deside to get a better detector a NOKTA MAKRO SIMPLEX is a great starter detector for around $250.00. Good luck.
You guy's found more stuff from that place than most wil find lifetime. Congratulations to all. Hey Doug post some lil something on your youtube so we can message you?
Concave, think of a cave going inward.. That's it, now your expert on Concave ,convex...:) Great day and I'd bet there is a lot more out there, just not enough time or endurance. .eh? Cheers, Rik
They would be from officers clothing as well. The design was used up through sometime after the civil war. I can't remember the switch over occurred I am thinking sometime during the 1880s.
Know it's on the other vid , but wish we could find out something bout the bird, can ya see please love to know.love be this vid too had fun huh, as always
So, which do you decide is a buttons surface? The "detail" side or the shank side? Detail side on the buttons in the first 7 minutes seem to be all convex.
New to the hobby and had a detector that was super cheap but looking to get something better that's not going to break the bank as well anything anyone would recommend? Thanks
Poor old Paul always getting picked on. I have to laugh as in the way you talk to each other. Us Aussies do the same & if we aren't insulting our Mates they think something is wrong. More great finds you boys have all the luck as your history goes back so far. Where I live here in North Queensland our history only goes back to the 1860's & the finding of gold.
I heard they punched holes in them and sewed them into their clothing so they wouldn’t loose them. I found a few with a single hole. I also found one with two holes! lol! Someone said that may have been used as a toy.
Hi Quarter Hoarder, it's me Timothy "The Main Source", did you know that a V Nickel 1913 that could be worth 3 million dollars and a flowing hair Dollar worth 4 million dollars and a drape bust dollar worth 4 million dollar if you want to know.

Thanks for the update on how to get the most from the coppers

Utterly fantastic! Enjoyed every moment.
The button at 6:00 might be a warranted orange. British made between 1810 and 1830 I believe
So awesome! Thank you!
Great day!
Must have been some serious trade in that field! Nice spot.
A life time of great finds in one ( half) a video! Score! 😎

Wow you all did really awesome congrats and thanks for the video!
Epic spot ... probably wishing for Fall to get here soon.⚒
What an epic spot!!! Congrats to all of you!
The tiny round button may have been a ladies boot/shoe button. I believe they used a button hook with those.
How cool. I’m glad we don’t do that anymore! Lol
Great finds guys👏👍
Beautiful area with awesome finds . Hard to believe what people have lost through the centuries. Always enjoy watching you guys 👍👌

Concave, think of a cave going inward.. That's it, now your expert on Concave ,convex...:)

The farmer just took the whole digging up some sh*t to a new level lol.
Those Infantry buttons are 1830s-1840s. Awesome finds!!
Thanks for the info!
They would be from officers clothing as well. The design was used up through sometime after the civil war. I can't remember the switch over occurred I am thinking sometime during the 1880s.

So awesome
The british coins were thinner because there were 240 pennies to a pound, versus 100 cents to a dollar.
@@dogtagdoug6751 no problem, the british had a weird money system, lol.
That’s good to know. How cool. Thank you
Know it's on the other vid , but wish we could find out something bout the bird, can ya see please love to know.love be this vid too had fun huh, as always
Great finds guys~ but I do think your militaria is 1912. Ish. Looks right!
Love to see some videos on the Equinox 600, XP OrX, Vanquish 540, Garret ACE Apex
great hunt guys. at least the farmer wasn't spreading liquid manure. you would have left/lol.
Awesome 👍👍👍👍
What did you find another infantry button
Was thinking about that movie Benjamin Button lol I miss seeing dog tag Doug getting all the dog tags
Where did you buy your metal detectors at and how much?
So, which do you decide is a buttons surface? The "detail" side or the shank side? Detail side on the buttons in the first 7 minutes seem to be all convex.
Jason I would like you to compare the anfibio to the Garrett AT max. Can the anfibio really be that much better ?
PA green rectangle is a clog clasp
The big red one
New to the hobby and had a detector that was super cheap but looking to get something better that's not going to break the bank as well anything anyone would recommend? Thanks
Check garage sales and online market place for used ones.
Could you imagine how pissed off these poor unfortunate ones losing all these coins. This was considered big money in those times
“ what the hells he doing there” ....lol
Wow

How much would you estimate this hunt to be worth?
I have seen a few with nail holes I'm curious why they done that.
I wanna metal detect with yall😉
Me too!
That item Charlie picked up off the ground walking looks like a old half of a binoculars
It does!
The large round button could be from a lady's button up boot.
That’s cool!
Charlie,, Go Penn State!!!
Why do the coins have holes?
With so many buttons I'm betting this was a battlefield.
Wheatie king crowned!...positions still available: Lord of the Tombacks, Chief of the Indians, Supreme silvers finder and Boss of the clads!
The button is concave and convex depending upon how you look at it!
very new to this. What does it mean when it has a hole in it ?
People would make holes to put it on a string so as not to loose it.
@@bleirdo_dude thanks for responding to my question.
@@donnaduda450 Y/W It's cool when you find one, except when it's on a seated dime.
I heard they punched holes in them and sewed them into their clothing so they wouldn’t loose them.

The artefact with Sun burst is a shoe or clog clasp 1600s to 18oos

Ok it’s simple. Concave is recessed... like a cave.
👍👍
Civil War buttons with the "I" for infantry
