- Finding old coins worth a high price tag is few and far between in metal detecting. We dig up the occasional $100 coin every now and then, but finding those big money coins are tough. Just last month Kyle dug his most valuable coin, a 1887 Seated Quarter with a mintage of only 10,000 worth half a grand! We assumed that would end up being the most valuable coin found this year but as luck would have it that record didn't even last a month. We may never find a coin this valuable again but the excitement of searching for one will keep us looking forever!

Another great episode everyone. That is the first time I've seen someone dig up a 1793 Half Cent. Congrats Kyle on what might be the hardest coin to find. Certainly rarer then digging a gold coin. Oops, did I spoil Kyles next impossible find featured in the next episode?

Incredible finds, especially the 1793 Half cent, I have been dealing coins for over 40 years and as soon as I saw the coin before the dirt was taken off, I knew it was a 93 Half cent by design.

I also found a 1793 Liberty Cap 1/2 cent. If the coin is Fine Condition, it could be worth $50,000. My coin was valued at $4,000.... had environmental concerns.

Been a fan for years now,these last bunch of videos have been crazy!super old coins and stuff! Wish I could find somewhere to go around western Washington, but it is illegal to dig around anywhere without getting in trouble! Great to watch u guys rocking it! And if anyone has any suggestions on where I could go around western Washington I would appreciate it!thanks guys!
It’s difficult to find public land to detect in a lot of states. If you can knock on some doors and try to get on private land (old houses, farms, etc) that might help you get some quality detecting areas. Good luck!
