I just got these (ABS plastic) for the 6.5 components I am installing. excellent quality and fit, very fast shipping. Only complaint is that I have to pay for the mounting hardware which is bs.

it looks like when you install that wire harness adapter on the speaker that it would pinch the wire between the door sheet metal and the speaker spacer. seems to me you would need to run the harness inside the door for so it doesn't pinch and you get a nice clean seating surface for the speaker/spacer assembly.
You read my mind. That's why he didn't mount the speaker lol

Can you use a spacer to get that extra clearance for a speaker that needs 3 1/6 top mount clearance?
hey guys, I'm just curious, I have a 1992 SV21 Camry and absolutely dislike 4" speakers, I was wondering if you's have had any experience installing 6.5" in the doors on one at all?
I have an 04 Camry with JBL sound system. I am looking into replacing the oem speakers, but I'm hearing installing aftermarket speakers that are not 2 ohm with the factory amp will cause reduced sound/volume? Is this true?
hey guys, I have an 04 camry, I have your adapters, and my 6x9 speakers have a top mount depth of 3 and 1/16ths of an inch. Will they still fit without issue since the 1/16th of an inch is so small? or could I use small washers when mounting and get away with it?
I have a 2009 camry and I wanna put components on the front doors, my question is: do I need to put an amplifier to get a good sound or they sounds good without it?

My speakers says 3.1 top mount depth do you think this will be ok
why not use the old mounting bracket for the new speakers, get the dremel and go at it. I guess that option would knock the cheese off the taco, so to speak.
Richard if you actually had one in your hand and you spent hundreds of dollars on stereo equipment you wouldn’t do that. It would very difficult to secure the new speaker to the old frame after butchering it with a dremel. Better to trace and make a new one out of wood or plastic
The speakers in my 02 LE look different than yours. I don't have the JBL system, and we got this car brand new. Although those speakers that are in your doors were in the rear deck...

This is the only company offering a real good adapter for speakers for Toyotas , the METRA brand is garbage and not suitable to install in my Camry my Infinity 93xi on the rear deck and the Infinity 90csx component speakers in the front door !!!

These are CNC machined from a solid piece of plastic. Look up the cost on a 5x10 sheet of HDPE. You will be very surprised. WE do offer budget friendly (injection molded) version. These are generally used with higher end speakers being provided a lot of power - the higher powered speakers tend to cause the injection molded versions to “vibrate” - reducing sound quality.
No door panel removal shown as described, and where's the component tweeter install vid? Not doubting your install skills, but your TH-cam skills seem lacking.
