  • Your device analyzes your heart rate variability while you are inactive to determine your overall stress. Training, physical activity, sleep, nutrition, and general life stress all impact your stress level. The stress level range is from 0 to 100, where 0 to 25 is a resting state, 26 to 50 is low stress, 51 to 75 is medium stress, and 76 to 100 is a high stress state. Knowing your stress level can help you identify stressful moments throughout your day. For best results, you should wear the device while sleeping.

    If anything's making me stressed it's the constantly looping, never ceasing, mind numbing guitar loop in the background

    Managing stress is great - but its even better to address the matters causing the stress in the first place. I use my Garmin Stress Score to do a self check and identify matters that caused me to get stressed out and take actions to address those root causes.

      Basically the reason why I ordered one today. And not forgot the body battery. I have chronic fatigue syndrome, hopefully this will give me insights.

    Hi, has the garmin vivomove sport got the breathing exercise? I want to get the garmin vivomove sport mostly to track the sleep as it is the most accurate in garmin selection for sleep tracking. Thanks

    Fenix 5X+ for 3 years 24hrs a day. Most work days it between 70-90. That’s a 24hr period and only showing 20-30 min in the blue. Should I be worried ? My off days stress is 60-80 with only two to 3 hrs of blue while sleeping !

    How can you decide stress levels working from heart rate alone? Surely if I am working out my heart rate is high = stressed? Is a score of 95 whilst sitting at the work desk purely related to my heart rate? I can’t compute how you relate stress to pulse rate alone? Clarification would be great! Thanks love the watch

      Those are great questions. Your stress score is calculated not just from heart rate, but heart rate variability or HRV. There are a lot of algorithms involved and the explanation can be somewhat intricate, so I am providing the following link for reference.........support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=04pnPSBTYSAYL9FylZoUl5. From this page, scroll down to "How does your body manage your HRV?" I hope this helps.

    Just bought a Garmin Venu SQ, amazing features very happy with this watch. However, regarding the Stress level feature, I would expect a sort of alert function telling me my stress level is high, instead of me checking the app. Do you think you can implement an alert on the next update? Thank you!

    Can we address the "immeasurable stress" somewhere on Garmin. What does it mean? You're so stressed they cannot measure it? It says it at work when I am in the weeds, when walking my Chihuahua and a pitbull comes out and when my faucet exploded in my kitchen. I mean obviously it's extra high stress but why can't Garmin measure it or at the very least acknowledge what it means?

    is all this stress monitoring working well if i don't wear the watch while sleeping but only throughout the day ?

    • @GarminRetailTraining
      @GarminRetailTraining  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for your question. The short answer is yes, stress monitoring will still work. Wearing it during sleep, however, will create a better understanding of the full range of your stress vs. relaxation states since stress levels are typically lowest during sleep. For more information on stress tracking, take a look at the following link. I hope this helps.

    I think I’m very laid back, I don’t often feel emotional stress, but Garmin is telling me that I have stress, I know I have high blood pressure, which I take tablets for, but I am not stressed by that. In fact the watch saying I was stressed made me feel stressed. I’d like to turn this off actually if can I? I like all the other features but would like to have the feature that notices if you have arterial fibrillation, I believe in America that the Garmin Venu 3 has this enabled, why not in the uk. Thanks I’d like to know if it will be switched on for us in the uk.

    Nice video and great about breathing exercises which is probably the best thing you can do for stress, but they don't explain how they get the stress number they give you. They say it is based on HRV, which would be a good thing, if true, but the fact that they don't have a HRV number to give you puts the lie to that. I don't know what combination of numbers/values/data they mix together to give you their stress number, but if they can't tell you, can't give you the formula they used to arrive at that number it is worthless. They are like the Mighty Wizard in the Wizard of Oz - Don't look behind the curtain.

    #Garmin the stress level is derived from the time in between heart rate intervals so it seems the heart rate is just as good as the stress levels. No disrespect meant but the stress level seems a bit gimmicky. Your rep in this video keeps saying stress when he could just use heart rate. Is your heart rate high because you are exercising just as your stress level is high because you are exercising then take a break and spend some down time recovering, drink some water to hydrate, and be sure to snack healthy to help maintain your body. Knowing this the stress level is not needed ever but the heart rate is!
