1969 ! I was 11 yrs of age but I remember a lot, especially cool cars and motorcycles. The sun was yellow, people were kind and except for the war that didn't affect daily lives....... it was a happy time to grow up. Grandfather John Pennsylvania USMC Beirut Veteran
I had a Aunt and uncle who bought a 72 brand new 2 tops and a luggage rack and they also paid extra for a special suit case for the luggage rack and they used quite frequently
Saw a Vette pulling into the apartment complex I lived in with a refrigerator tied to the luggage rack and then later he had a love seat. Vette was a ragged mid 1970s
Just curious why you guys would spend almost $4000 on servicing the car and not take care of those unsightly issues on the dash and console. A couple of manhours and a can of spray paint and the interior could be immaculate. It is a beautiful car, but I would cringe at paying $50K for any car with those minor cosmetic issues. I do love this car though.
Pretty sure factory air cars were not 350 hp but 325, if they had power steering too, then 300. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I'm almost certain there was never a factory air 350ci with 350hp. It is otherwise a very nice car.
Engines included for the new 1969 Corvette'69 were a larger 350 cubic inch 300 horse engine as standard, and another modified 350 small block with 350 horse. But the big blocks were the real hot setup with several 427 cubic inch engines that had a special high doomed hood.

68-72 chrome bumper cars are so nice. Only thing I didn’t like about em is they look like 4WD with how much space in wheel wells.
