Try This is a series of videos dedicated to sharing interesting games and game playstyles. This video discusses Mondrak, Glory Dominus one of the new commanders from Phyrexia: All Will Be One. This creature is essentially Anointed Procession in the command zone with a rather easy way to give itself indestructible at instant speed. Token doublers are some of the strongest effects in magic and white is one of the best colors in magic to create tokens. So this commander is probably here to stay and will dominate go-wide strategies for awhile.

Great video! A lot of your suggestions I already have in my Mondrak deck. Here are a few other suggestions with cards I've been getting for my deck:
Archetype of Courage, giving every token you create first strike, and pairing that up with Kwende, Pride of Femeref to give everything double strike as well.
In Commander, since you always have 3 opponents, Silverwing Squadron is strong too. Expensive, yes, but pairing it with Oketra's Monument to get it out for a little less helps.
You mentioned Ultramarines Honour Guard, but I wouldn't sleep on Space Marine Devastator. Plan your mana right, Squad enough with Mondrak out, and you could practically wipe all opponent artifacts and enchantments.
Finally, for enemies that have heavy power and trample, a card like Hold the Line would be crucial to have. Getting all your tokens to block, then giving them +7/+7 could easily get rid of strong +1/+1 trample decks.
I put this in my hofri deck and it's absolutely busted!

Thanks for watching and the suggestions! It's already a very powerful commander I think it would be almost format warping to have a 4 drop selesnya token doubler in the command zone lmao. That would be insane!
Brimaz and Gideon ally of zendikar because you can ultimate him right away for a +1/+1 counter emblem for all creatures you control.

this is pretty much probally going to be one of the most powerful choices for Commander Token decks, he's kind of insane. if it works with Desolation Twin, it would be nasty to see 3 10/10s just dumped on the board. XD
Yea I agree! Its only going to be really gated by the drawbacks of mono-white which isn't that bad anymore lol
Leonin warleader, Wedding invitation and Mondrak with befriending the moths is a quick game winner

Both Elish Norns are nasty includes, I love Crested Sunmar in my decks as well. I tend to put mother/giver of runes in for extra protection as well. Weathered Wayfarer is great to help with land drops, and ofc land tax, but these are all just auto include for mono white. In line with the tokens though, Bennie Bracks, Zoologist is a great one. Now if you did a subtheme of Life Gain, which I am going to be doing there is a lot that can be added to push the deck even further!
@@Zenith8924 I think my list is a little light on card draw so Bennie Bracks would really help it out. Thanks for all the suggestions! It should be pretty easy to incorporate life gain. There's a ton of tokens with life gain synergy in mono-white.
Dravni, Mondrak, and Ratadrabik
I pulled him from a pack! As much as I love him as a commander, he just has a placehold in the 99 of my Urza, chief artificer.
I don’t play Commander at all but Mondrak in Orzhov is explosive.
Like in standard or what format? I'm only really familiar with Commander.
