Great Video! I was definitely wanting to shoot the left one at the beginning (I was assuming it to be mid 180s). Couldn’t agree more on your take on main beams. Most definitely the hardest thing to judge and also one of the most important things on a good scoring buck. Thanks for sharing the info and examples. The buck I shot this year went 190” and only had 25” earspread and 9” ears. However another buck I know of scored around 160” but had a 27” ear spread with 10” ears! Just a little food for thought when field judging mature bucks that you know have big bodies.
Gosh, no wonders I don't kill big bucks. My quick initial thought was, I like the look of the one on the right. Which naturally was the lowest score of the three 😆. Heck of a collection you have going there! I appreciate the info with your nuggets of wisdom.
Love this! Makes me want to learn more. Nothing like seeing these bucks in the outdoors on a ridge. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! That is very kind of you to say!
Great video, super helpful!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome Video! I’m from MM and have been watching your vids since you started. Good Job!
Thanks my friend, that means a lot. Good luck to you in the upcoming draws!
I was set on the middle buck all along i thought he scored less but he just had the look I like. Them all are great bucks thanks for sharing.
Those main beams can go over looked by me sometimes!
Great video!👍
Appreciate it, glad you enjoyed it!

It's so tricky, a lot of times we see a buck guess what it scores and never kill it. We're probably more often we think😂.

It's all about the experience, plus you're an elk killing machine! And you have good deer!
