- First time taking the new R1 out on track, and first ride for me since my shoulder injury back in Sept.
Still breaking the bike in and it was chilly this day, so pretty relaxed riding just getting back into the swing of things and feeling the bike out. Got Dave Moss tuning on the bike for an initial setup, a must! He's the man.
Bike is bone stock, I've thrown tank grips and case covers on it is all. Front brakes really are spongey and fade after any heavy braking, so pads are on order. Otherwise the bike is amazing, even the stock Bridgestone RS11 tires worked well, ready for my usual Dunlop treatment though.
Excited to get back into the racing season and take the R1 out to more trackdays! - กีฬา

Thanks! And no she is completely stock. Wanted a baseline to feel how stock was and then slowly upgrade. Definitely getting an exhaust and tune soon, I’m eager to hear that growl, too!!

Thanks! And no, this is just a trackday and they allow them since they fold out of the way. Definitely not allowed with any racing organization though.

@@Only_2_Wheelz it’s amazing! Been my dream bike for a long time and finally picked one up. Such an easy bike to ride, looking forward to more seat time on it and really picking up speed, took it pretty easy on this outing.
