    I have grown Aeschynanthus in a southeast window and it did very well. It had purple calyxes and bright red flowers. I agree that they are stunning displayed in a hanging basket when well grown.

    I love your plantvideos! Almost everything I search you have. And this plant is very rare in my country so thanks for your information💚 only plant I haven’t seen with you is the murdannia loriformis. Maybe we can expect a video of it in the future 🙋🏻‍♀️

    When I bought mine it had suffered from severe cold shock but it’s really bounced back (it’s a couple feet from an east facing London window)
    Also, the vines will go very limp when it needs a good drink so I got a watering routine down pretty easily

    What’s the difference between this and the Black Pagoda lipstick plant, which i have?

    • @amyl2442

      I think it's the same - mine was labeled as Black Pagoda but it looks just like the plant shown

    I have this plant, but I thought it's common name was a Black Pagoda lipstick plant, are they the same? I love the unique leaves and the purple undersides of those leaves. The blossoms aren't anything spectacular, but mine blooms all the time. They are also easy to propagate. Thanks again Summer love this series.

    • @hollyhasegawa6095

      @@stockinettestitch I keep it in a north facing window that gets bright light which it seems to like and it is about a foot away from the window.

    Hi can you please help me? I just ordered a black pagoda and got it in the mail a week ago. It arrived with the leaves very soft, wilted, shriveled and lack of color and some leaves with no color on the bottom of the leaves. Do you have thoughts on this?

  • @idiosyncraticgirl1

    Is this the same as black pagoda lipstick plant.?

      I always thought that was the common name so they should be the same plant. (:

    2:17 Can somebody help me, please? What does she mean here with the fertilizing? ->7,9,5? 10,10,10? Cut that in by half? >😟Where can I find a video where she explains that?

    • @aprilmartin3791
      @aprilmartin3791 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      She’s referring to the numbers on a bottle of fertilizer. The three numbers are in reference to how much nitrogen, phosphate, and potash is in the fertilizer. Different plants have different needs.

      April Martin Thank you very much for your explanation. I’m not sure if we’re having this here in the Netherlands as well, but I’m going to check. Again, thank you!

    I had one of these beauties until I killed it. When do you all water? Do they like to dry out like most plants (thoroughly?) before watering?
