- I got the chance to shoot an install video with my friend Jim from Pelican Cases and Franz Walkup from Barrett Firearms and is also US Army Veteran. They show you how to easily install a Pelican Cargo Series BX135 case in a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. This application can be done in most Jeeps and Trucks in less than 30 minutes.

With that mount setup - can you slide it all the way to the front of the bed against the front wall - like a Truck Toolbox kinda setup? I'm liking this a lot!

Can you lock the mount so someone can't pick up the whole case and steal it ?
@@MoviesSam You can, but I will say if somebody wants it that bad to steal a case that large that's filled with stuff, a lock isn't going to stop them
@thederekfrank do you happen to know how wide the mounting system is where it connects to rail system? I’m stumping Pelicans customer service line! I’m trying to fit it between bed rack arms that support my RTT. Thanks!
Oh wow, thats a good question. Let me call the guy and see if he has the measurements. I also have a Gladiator now but don't have this setup for myself yet

Thanks, this is what I was looking for, but your link took it to a different model and there is no mount included or listed, what is the part number for the case and bracket? I do have the rack mount rail in my Gladiator.
I think the link changed. It is the model BX135. I didn't see it on Amazon now, but you can get it directly from Pelican or an authorized dealer
And I liked this case so much that I bought a Gladiator too hahaha

Thanks for the video. I'm sorry, I don't understand the point of the perpendicular bed installation? And bolting it in? Why not just store it in there laterally on one side? Then there's room for other gear or another box laterally on the other side. I like the fact the box will fit under a tonneau cover. In fact, if these are weather proof they could sit above the tonneau cover on a rack exposed to the elements and do a video about that. Seems like a bed parallel installation would work well on a rack.
You can definitely do that. We just did this way because it was the easiest to see for demonstration, but there are tons of mounting options
