오늘 만들어 봤는데 입맛 까다로운 9살짜리 조카놈도 한입 먹더니 오옷? 하네요 그야 말로 미미 였습니다. 겉에 잘라낸건 튀겨서 설탕 솔솔 뿌려서 바삭하게 먹으니까 좋았습니다. 잘 먹고 갑니다

Hello! I made this today and it was delicious, thank you so much for this recipe! Also, I'm very happy that I can make more batter and store it in the fridge to save time in the morning.
I replaced the maple syrup with cinnamon, and next time I won't cut the bread crust off bc I don't know what to do with it haha.
I'll be looking forward to breakfast every day now. 감사합니다!!!

This is basically a custard, and the bread makes it less dense when it soaks up the custard liquid. If cooked long enough on medium or even medium low with the lid on, the custard will cook through by being steamed, and it will also pretty much fuse the bread slices together into one thick piece. In the video, it seems to be just cooked through.
