    $100 million a year spent on homeless, the majority of whom refuse social services, yet the city has to lay off people who work for a living? An excellent definition of insanity. If that isn't bad enough, Portland just elected more "progressive enablers" to city council and metro. That equals more wasted tax dollars and little (if any) progress in getting this homeless problem solved.

      Don't look at me, I didn't vote for that. I'm probably going to end up moving city/county adjacent, you can't fix stupid. All the common sense left Detroitland years ago.

    7 billion kicker. Tons of excess cash. Redeploy to positive areas. Focus on city improvement and investments that benefit the city of Portland.
