I noticed as you're focusing on trying to be flatter with your wrist your trajectory went up. That tells me you had a flip going on and then the numbers started showing that. The more troubling part is your hips. Early extension in the downswing. You had 1 swing that you almost fell over. The DJ or Jon Rahm or Collin Morikawa bowed wrist is due to a weak grip. They have to have a weak grip or they would hook it because of the bowed wrist. The bowing closes the clubface. Where as cupping opens the clubface. Love the work

Would that mean that cupping would keep me from hitting slinging hooks?

@ChasingTheTour yes 100%. Bowing your wrist closes the face, cupping opens the face. There are other factors involved as well. Grip being the big one.

I would also add that the idea of the arms in the golf swing is to mainly raise and lower the club. The hands are a means to hold the club. The body rotation is for really squaring the club. We as people inherently believe that we hit the ball by swinging with our arms. This is the reason amateurs become great manipulators. They manipulate the club to hit it it first, with speed second. The pros have learned to either manipulate on a micro scale or not at all. This creates consistency. Your wrist conditions are a direct correlation to your grip. You are trying to hit the ball with timing the squaring of the clubface with your hands. Your hands just need to drop the club into impact as your body squares it with rotation. I think breaking down the swing into segments and working on the parts as individuals can and should create lasting changes. Working on it at full speed in my opinion is just exercising. I don't think we learn much from that. This is the light bulb moment I found and what allowed me to drop to 2-3 handicap to end the season. That manipulation is the source of your 2 way miss. Under correct it goes right, over correct and it goes left. We don't want any corrections.

Lots of good nuggets for everyone including me. ROTATE, don't think.

@ChasingTheTour I've been trying to figure out how to show you what I mean. It's difficult to articulate feels through TH-cam. If we ever get a match together I'll certainly show you what I mean. It's been nothing short of a light bulb moment of clarity for me.

So, are using the $300 version or the $1,000 version?

I'm using the $1k version, but really I only talk and show data given by the $300 version.
