At the end of 28 weeks Later, the infected reached Paris by the eurotunnel. We have to remember they are not dead, they are not zombies. Maybe with the second outbreak the virus mutated and they have retained some type of intelligence like in The Omega Man or Land of the Dead and that will explain why they are still alive. The second outbreak came from Don's wife in the 28 weeks so an evolution jump is posible.
In CROSSED the Crossed eventually evolve to have intelligence ( Though it was actually sort of hinted that if someone had an underlying mental illness they’d retain intelligence )
Im curious to see. Im expecting the most obvious but not the most obvious. Which is that the rage virus, has evolved and has simply became fatal. And all the infected after death by starvation came back as full zombies and remain dormant for all these years of non contact. Lol. Im interested in seeing this play out.
@@hoverspool first off they aren't zombies. They are infected humans that are still alive. What happened in Paris was just another break out of the virus. They didn't come back and travel across to Paris.
@emilkubie definitely for the open world aspect, I think they'd need to dig deep to make it a real horror. Some of the mechanics of the game could rely on armour, basic ( made on the fly) armour could last until broken apart where as a riot suit would offer longer protection. That risk of getting taken down quickly would add a good balance to the gameplay quality.
@@PillowEgg I think it would be great if they introduced a gameplay dynamic where the only time you feel safer is strapping up in any body armour that's either found or crafted through a modification option using equipment found. Real ragdoll physics when fighting the infected would be great 👍
So no one knew who Danny Boyle was before 28 days later? What are you on about ever heard of trainspotting? The beach? Honestly only a yank would come out with some shit like that
I think what he means is his name wasn’t a big name in the US until 28 days later which was way more mainstream and let’s be honest plenty of people out there haven’t seen Trainspotting or the beach which is a crime. But I don’t think anyone will watch Trainspotting if they haven’t already and saw the sequel first. Which the sequel was utter crap .
They really need to make the first movie available to buy or on streaming services. Luckily I still have a digital copy of it. I had no idea 28 Days was delisted until now.
Cillian Murphy, i believe , is the infected with the beard that is shown in each of the shots in the trailer where his face isn't shown. An infected that still retains some of his memories and cognitive abilities just like the father in 28 Weeks Later. The shot where the infected are running down the hill you can see one just standing there. And if you freeze it on the part where that same bearded infected jumps on that guy as he turns around you can tell its Jim.
That plot doesn't sound...great. A "find the doctor for grandma" type movie? Why? Also, how are the infected still alive? Did they become undead zombies? It was a big plot point for both of the previous movies. I expected this to be more "a outbreak that occurs 28 years after the last one", this one makes me a little sad.
I thought the same. So they also ignoring 28 Weeks Later? Its sounds a little bit like that. Maybe we will understand until a trailer drops. I have a bad feeling but i hope, iam not right.
Agree with you on the plot thing.... Sound's terrible, but the trailer that came out today says a little different even if it has some aspects of that plot. On the surviving zombies I also agree with you, how the Fk are there still zombies 28 YEARS, i mean YEARS later? But we cannot forget those that have the virus but it doesn't show symptoms, meaning you can spread it and not feel it, like the case of the mother in 28 Weeks. So imagine this, you can never really contain it because you can't just kill an infected person that has no sinthomes, so eventually they will spread if in contact with other people, what should you do, execute these people, contain them in a cage for the rest of their life? you gotta understand human rights would not allow that. But again.... how are this people still spreading 28 years later, starvation exists... you can't just go recycling this containment uncontainment then containment plot it would be boring. I'm intrigued
Not specifically no, 28 weeks is about a failed attempt to re-populate the UK with refugee's that fled the original outbreak only the virus re-emerges & hell breaks lose again.
Title -28 Years Later Plot Revealed Explained....video is 8 minutes of not talking about the plot of 28 Years Later.

I have seen where they slam 28 Weeks later for a dawn stalking his kids when like you said, it was possibly a mutation!

@rulerjayohenn3161 sounds like a good plot theory
I thought the infected eventually died of starvation a few weeks after the events of the first film. Or maybe they're freshly infected
Watch the second film
Where do you think he is getting that information lol? The second one said they starved to death. @@hoverspool
It says that they evolved
@@pwnzormcduck6546 yeah and what happened at the end of the second movie
the zombies came back and went across the chunnel to paris

All these years and we haven't had a game of this movie, with today's capabilities in graphics we could have a solid open world game.
I wish Rockstar Games would make one

I heard 28 weeks later is completely separate from 28 days later n 28 years later
His name's actually pronounced like "Ray Fines" I know it's always stumped me, too!
It's actually "Rayf" with a soft "f" sound on the end.
So the idea of finding a doctor was already one of the variations of how the original script for the first movie

Yank or not, if you’re into film and wasn’t familiar with Boyle, it’s hard to accept that you’re into film.
I hope this is the start of a revival of the zombie genre.
Ralph Fiennes is pronounced like Rafe Fines. Weird I know, but some British names are crazy, Belvoir is pronounced Beaver!

One thing I hate is "fast zombies"
They are DEAD. They cant run.
World War Z are technically infected with the "Zeke" virus. They arent dead either.
Zombies aint real so if they can make a good movie by making them fly make them fly
