    You can definitely see a difference in the crows feet in lighter photos! You will drive yourself crazy trying to compare all these photos and videos! I’m going through the exact same thing! I turned 50 in January and it was like I woke up and looked in the mirror and said Who is that old lady?? I’ve become so self conscious! You are absolutely beautiful Karen! So don’t even worry about that! Thank you so much for sharing this mask and have a wonderful day! ❤️❤️

      I turned 50 this year too and feel exactly the same way! Lol oh well. I don't think you look 50 at all though! Thank you for your review.

    Red light therapy really does work! I've had the Dr Dennis Gross Spectralight mask for 6 months and my fine lines are so much better. I'm 43 and now have no lines at all on my forehead and undereye lines and crepeyness is probably 50% improved!

    Hi Karen. I have the Aduro LED mask that I've been using almost every day for the past 12 months and the results have been astonishing. I also use the same mask on my neck, chest and back of neck. However, it is worth noting for safety reasons that you should exercise caution if using any LED mask with your eyes open. If the infared and near infared LEDs are at the appropriate wavelength, research suggests that continued use could potentially damage the retina. Also, as you said in the video, keeping your eyes closed could also help improve the texture and tone of the skin on your eyelids. I really hope Watson is doing okay after his surgery. My boy went in for surgery to have two lumps removed on Monday. One of the lumps was on his cheek, so he has to wear a collar cone, which he hates, but he seems to be recovering well considering. The lumps were sent for analysis, so fingers crossed that the test results come back benign. Looking forward to seeing your future results and an update on Watson's health. All the best. Anna xxx

      Thinking of you. Hope all the tests come back benign too. Worrying time.

      That's great to hear how much success you've had! I looked into the research re eyes and there is actual research showing that it doesn't do any damage to them at all. Isn't it typical, you can find research for both sides lol. I'm keeping everything crossed that your boy's lumps are nothing to worry about. Update on Watson will be up on his channel in a day or so and loads of updates and videos on instagram. xx

      As long as you keep the eyes closed is it ok not to wear the goggles? I find it very bright but the goggles stop the light getting to some parts of the skin. Just scared about damaging my retina.

      The only way to take years off your eyes due to sagging of the upper eyelids and bags under eyes is to have a upper and lower Blepheraplasty. I did and it took 20 years off my eyes. Look at before and after pics online. 😊

    Thank you for this video. I agree sometimes it is hard to compare images, even just overnight the eyes can look different based on diet, drink, sleep, pollution, pollen, stress, exercise, heat or cold exposure. Plus weight loss or gain too x

    Hey Karen… how are things hon?
    I’m so so excited about this mask! I’m 40 next as although I still look quite young (my photo is recent) I’m seeing slight crows feet when I smile, so I’m really interested in the mask & might have to take advantage of your 15% off, thanks so much!
    Your results are amazing in just 2 months Karen!

    Great video. I can see results on you. Are you still using the acid peel on your upper lids or just the LED at the moment? I know exactly what you mean about suddenly feeling 50! I turned 50 last month and overnight I just feel like my appearance has unravelled and I really look 50. You definitely DON'T look 50 though! x

    • @TheBeautyMaverick

      I didn't do a TCA peel so that any results I knew would be from the LED mask :0) Aww thanks so much. x

    I have an LED face mask. Do I need this too lol? I've looked at the pictures of the eye one on & I think my face one gets just as close to the eye as this one. Emma x

    • @TheBeautyMaverick
      @TheBeautyMaverick  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Probably don't need both - for me I will use the eye one more being as its cordless and only takes a few minutes. Its really my eyes I want to target, but if you want to target your whole face the face one will do it all :-)

      I was wondering the same thing. I’ve seen a lot of people ask other contact creators. Keeping in mind that some of the less honest ones may be saying this because they want you to purchase another device for the affiliate commission, I have read some influencer say that there are many more lights in this eye device, then in the face masks. And it does appear that there are. Given that this is one of the least expensive red light devices, I think it’s probably worth it if you haven’t gotten the results, do you wanted from the mask. I was looking at A very expensive, flexible panel, and my only hesitation (besides, that huge price), was that you had to wear goggles with it so then I would also have to purchase an eye LED device but this once is fairly inexpensive (as they go.) The panel just went up to almost $2600 but it also helps with pain so I’m
      still considering it. One thing I also Factor in is whether I’m going to get the extended warranty. The devices that I’ve looked at only cover manufacturers defect for one to two years. If something spills on it, or my dog eats the cord, or I want that extra one year of protection after the first two years, I looked to the extended warranty, but it gets really expensive when you’re looking at multiple devices. That said, I would lose it if I spent all that money, and the device wasn’t covered so that’s sort of held me up on making a decision.

    Ho, thanks for the before/after pictures. I have bought this mask and have high hopes because of wrinkles, hooded eyes and dark under eyes. Fingers crossed. I read that you can use their eye patches underneath, does that work also with every other eye patch? Do you know this?

    • @TheBeautyMaverick
      @TheBeautyMaverick  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I haven't investigated regarding the eye patches but I personally think it depends on how good the eye patch is. x

    hi Karen, great video. Thank you! can a face LED mask used in conjunction with retinols / adapelene? or is that not advisable since the skin is more light sensitive?

    • @bluecurlygirl
      @bluecurlygirl 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you can. I use the aduro led mask with tretinoin. My daughter uses it with differin (adapalene).

      I believe it's completely fine, just wash your face before use. I've been using some skincare with retinol on my face and neck and I haven't had any issues

    • @TheBeautyMaverick
      @TheBeautyMaverick  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think the LED mask is fine with Retinoids, great combo I'd say :0) x

    • @TheBeautyMaverick
      @TheBeautyMaverick  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No need to wash your face in my opinion though, it will help the Retinol penetrate. The only skincare you need to wash off is sunscreen. x

    Are you still loving this? Did you ever try closing your eyes and did this help with hooded eyes? Ever try the patches they sell to go along with these? You look beautiful. I’m 52 & went through the same thing. Still felt young & like i looked young in my late 40’s but, then my hair started thinning (thanks, menopause!) and I felt like I aged almost overnight by 50. Then came the sun spots all at once; what the heck? Aging is definitely not for the faint of heart; that’s for sure, and women feel the pressure way more than men thanks to society’s double standard. (Still trying to understand how men are described as getting “more distinguished looking” as they age-maybe society needs to change their lens!😂) I am loving Altreeno (a much more elegant brand lotion form of Tretinoin cream - not sure if they make in the UK?) and once I can finally decide between a face mask and neck/chest mask or the super pricey Dermalux face panel (which I would also used for the treatment of chronic pain), I’ll move on to that. Which hand mit gave you charging issues? I like the Current body one that fits both hands but the # of bulbs in it appear to be half of a single hand mitt, which seems opposite of what I’d expect. I started using Altreeno on my hands and am looking forward to seeing results of that. Hope to hear back from you. Thank you!

    • @TheBeautyMaverick

      Closing my eyes wouldn't help much as there is no light over the eyes, just eye holes. I did a few updates on this though, it broke, mostly my fault for shoving it in my skincare bag! I still prefer my care lamp anyway. I did try the patches and loved them. I just don't have the health and/or motivation/dedication to use devices consistently enough sadly. It was the current body hand mitt I had. x
