Hello and welcome to BOAB models for the full build of the TWR Jaguar XJS Touring car, a replica of the 1984 European champion. Heller did do a touring car version of this but it's quite rare, so I have used the standard version and added a combination of spare decals and some homemade ones.
Thanks a lot for watching and please subscribe and hit the bell icon!

I'll be putting this into a diorama soon - subscribe and hit the bell to keep notified for future builds.
Another great little build Thomas, love it! One of my favorite classic racing videos to watch is Tom Walkinshaw ripping around Bathurst in the XJS in 1985.
Thank you! I know the car you mean - I think Scalextric have just released a replica.
I’m amazed at your skill on such a tiny scale, well done. I remember actually seeing the Jags race.
The silver circles as you call them are representing the fuel filler and vent cap, common for touring cars at the time, I nearly said back in them days but I was around then :) look forward to the next build and the diorama, I’m guessing something of the museum, model on
Thanks so much, Sarah Jane. I thought the circles might be there. There's another Jag racer there, the XJC, with the same openings on the boot.
Nice looking Jag! Another great job at replicating an actual car. Really great outcome! Nice kit, really does build into a nice looking model. Thanks Thomas!!!
Thanks so much, Richard. Even though the kit was the road car, it matched the touring car well.

Nice racing Green on the model.😊
Thanks, David. I looked at the Hasegawa version and the Mr Colour green they suggested was way too bright. Much happier with this.
太精彩了!這麼細小的組件可以製作得那麼細緻,改造功夫十分了得👍
Thank you very much! 😊
The silver circles on the boot would be the fuel fillers.
Cheers, I thought they might be.
The fuel filler is the circles on the bootlid
Thanks, makes sense
Hey how do you paint brakelights and blinkers? I can’t seem to make them look transparent
I use Sharpies. Sometimes if the shape is unusual, I use Tamiya clear red or orange but I find I can control Sharpies more easily.
@@BOABModelsdo you use any specific brand or is it just orange and red markers
