    Wondering if it's safe to try intermittent fasting while nursing or breastfeeding to lose weight? Sharing my thoughts and modifications for safe and effective weight loss if you want to try fasting.

    Intermittent fasting 14:10 or 16:8
    Lost 4lbs in 2 weeks.
    Milk supply is great.

    I'm Muslim and after my baby turned 18 months I decided to do my obligatory fast of Ramadhan.
    Where I am in the globe, that means fasting about 13 hours. No food or fluids from before dawn to dusk.
    I could only manage a few days when I developed a severe headache that lasted for days leading to weeks.
    I didn't fast again until just recently when my bub is a few months shy of 2 years old. Now I'm doing IF so I allow myself fluids like water, tea and coffee. I feel good alhamdulillah and managed to lose the few stubborn lingering pounds. I'm now 3 kg away from my pre pregnancy weight alhamdulillah. God willing, I'm a few months when I have fully taken my son off breastfeeding, I will try to make up the fasts I left out during previous ramadhans.
    I have about 85 days to replace.May Allah ease for me ❤

    i feel dizzy and weak if i dont eat good enough and sometimes im about to drop my baby, so i decided not to do fasting while Breastfeeding

    Great video I’m doing 16-8 and I feel great 👍🏼 I’m breastfeeding my 6 month old I eat from noon to 6 drink a lot of water and add more healthy carbs to my diet

    Visiting Agoge Diet was a life-changing decision. Who would have believe that creating a diet plan is so easy.

    I am starting in my mid 6 months postpartum window. 16 to 8 hours everyday. Eating less carbs and riding my bike.

    I am not a quitter but I couldn't go through with the keto diet because it made me feel awful. Then I tried the Agoge diet and I lost so much fat, and most importantly no more cellulite.

    Thank you for this video, it's a lot of what I was wondering. When asking providers they seem very hesitant to give any guidance at all and I have been told not to try anything for a full year. I didn't drop an ounce after my son and now after my daughter I am at my highest weight ever and weaker than I have been in years. It sounds as if it should be safe to start around 6 months postpartum? I'm happy to wait for when it's safe to lose weight in a healthy way.

    I think this is a question to be asked to and answered by an MD. It’s a very serious decision and should be made only after asking your doctor .

      Doctors will never recommend keto while pregnant/nursing bc of the only study done on mice in which the mice were fed a ketogenic diet which was just synthetic vitamins and a ton of trans fats for the calories.

    Keto works but honestly I felt awful from the beginning. I then tried the *Agoge diet* plan and it also worked, but I did not feel bad at all, so I am sticking with the *Agoge diet*.

    I've started IF and 2 days in, my milk supply dropped more than half. 😔😭 I'm devastated. I need to fit back into my work clothes. I just feel so low. I was never skinny, but at least didn't have the lumps & bumps now present. 😥

      I wouldn't recommend that postpartum if you are breastfeeding.

    How often do you open the faster way to fast loss program? I'm currently pregnant and wouldn't be able to join until mid-to-late 2021

      Yes! I run my groups about every 6 weeks - will be taking a little break in February when my daughter arrives but always have a new group around the corner

    i’m doing 20-4 and not losing any weight.
    milk supply is the same as before but i’m not losing weight.from december until now i only lost 3kg. do you think it’s because i’m only 5 months postpartum?

      Do you exercise too? Since I've started jogging with it I started dropping weight at 3 months postpartum.

      @@annfrank90 not exercising.but i’ve talked to other people and they said it’s probably because of my high prolactin levels i’m not losing.
      i’ll start agai after weaning my babe off breast.

      I didn’t lose any weight until I stopped breastfeeding and then it came off fast

      Basically we eat low carb two days back to back to deplete glycogen stores and pair with HIIT workouts :)

      Why did you go from omad to tmad? How was breastfeeding with omad? Did you count calories? I feel like if i dont my milk starts dwindling
