    Hey Jim! As always, very nice build and fly video. I just ordered the new Hacker Model’s 41” Madbull Max and was wondering if you are going to be doing a build video on that (Hacker Model’s 41” Madbull Max)?? Thanks in advance!! Cheers!!

    Do you happen to have your profile/settings handy you used for this plane and your TX16S?
    I just built one as my first 3D plane but I want to make sure I’ve got it sorted right. It was flying a little odd on the maiden today.

      For all my planes in the Outputs, I extend the travel to the extreme max/min travel on the surface (and then in one click, usually in the neighborhood of 112-125%) I go with high Expo (60-70%) and don't use any low/high rates. I setup my flaps on the right slider with neutral at the midpoint so I could have the flaps go down or up. Also, I don't consider this a "3D plane" as it is more of a high wing bush plane that can be cajoled into doing some 3D, but it isn't what I would recommend learning 3D on... for that I would always recommend the Crack Pitts and Crack Yak.

    Nice build video. Two questions here : which CA glue brand are u using here, mine tends to whiten the foam and leaves ugly stains? And how do you compare this bird to the Turbo beaver? Cheers.

      CEC Corp/BSI/StarBond are some of our favorites. twistedhobbys.com/glue---adhesives/

      In this video I used the CEC Corp Thin CA. To reduce whitening, setup a small fan, apply the thinnest coat possible, and don't use the kicker. If you have high humidity, it makes the problem worse. I love the Beaver! This beast is in an entirely different class. It's bigger, more power, has proper flaps, full floating elevator... the Beaver is smaller, lighter and flies more like a foamie.

    I would love a Dr.1 in this style of build (full fuselage.)

      Have you seen the VA Models new Dr1 fokker. Its beyond this and more regarding similar build fuse type.

    didnt show battery placement or cg ck

      I was working off an early manual that didn't have a recommended CG. There is a battery opening on the bottom of the plane at 17:06 you can see where I placed the velcro and that seemed to be the perfect spot with plenty of room to adjust CG fore/aft depending on your battery size. I use 3S 720mAh and 850mAh for 5-6 min flight time.

      @captnjim. How are you flying I get a 4 min flight on a 1300

      @@Axoy-2 You see the flying I am giving it, at the end of the video, usually a mix of everything with some 3D stuff, and also some smooth, slow flying. If I am doing a lot of hovering, or trying to climb high to do spins, the flight time does drop off. If you are using any sort of setup that is different than mine, (heavier battery, different motor, ESC, or prop) than your times aren't going to compare. With a battery twice as heavy, the motor has to work a lot harder to lift the extra weight. still if you are using the stock power combo, you should get a longer flight time (although maneuverability with the extra weight will suffer.)
