He showed no mercy for the unarmed trades and when he met a real warrior he begged for mercy for himself. The dirt of a country road´s site was a fitting end for this slugger.
I wish Mace and Axe got the same Love as swords , they both only have 3 combos , still better than archery and unarmed that got none , still amazing game and a amazing video !!!
That was fun to watch. I'm finding a lot of traders being attacked by well-armored bandits now. I haven't been able to rescue any, and I wonder if that's the way the AI is programmed for the level I've reached. I did save some Sasau guards in the same spot. They wanted to search the bodies themselves, though. I had to stash a lot of the loot in that house to pick up later. Bandits respawn at their camp, or new bandits move in. Fresh meat.

Im not an expert but what little i know plate armour was not so rare in the 1400's. The ones in game are all very well made so armours that quality were more uncommon but more modest pieces were a lot more common. But 1400's were late medieval times, the first military firearms were getting some real combat in europe, armours peaked in 1500's and very quickly just faded away as the firearms becoming more common made them obsolete - already in the 1400's a hand cannon, an early musket kind of firearm could punch through an armour at close range. But yeah the armours were expensive and usually people who wore armours like in the game were noblemen turned into bandits
@@ghostofatmora4909 youre welcome, And Dont quote me on that one. Thats just My understanding 🥴 but i love to talk about these things, And learn something if someone corrects me!
Well they are brigands, some of them were nobles plus they rob rich traders and plunder cities, most of what they are wearing was probably what they took as loot. Besides, if you really pay attention to it enemies wearing full plate armor are about 10% of the total we encounter (cumans dont wear it and most bandits wear brigantines and other lighter armor, even later game).
I'm finding that everyone who post videos of KCD combat does the same thing. Master strike, swing, Master strike, swing, Master strike, Master strike, swing, take damage, swing, Master strike, Master strike, Master strike. So mostly just hitting 1 button, waiting for the animation to finish and strike while they are stunned after the Master strike. Master strikeMaster strikeMaster strike
Its really hard or impossible to pull off a combo if there are many enemies. If you try to strike one enemy the one behind you usually strikes you in the back, which cancels your strike animation. Then the bandit behind you does a mombo combo and the second bandit you were originally trying to kill starts pulling his mombo combo. Then the bandits will bound you like the bbc section of the hub. And even if you manage to land a strike on the bandit they most of the time will do a perfect block or just master strike you. KCD:s combat is fun when its a duel, but with multiple opponets using only master strikes feels necessary.
The problem is that the game has no inbetween: it's either impossible or trivial. You either masterstrike or things just don't work because the enemies can perfect block or masterstrike everything you do.
You run slower depending on how many weapons you have equipped. With 1 weapon there is no penalty, but any combination of 2 or 3 weapons (including main weapons, bows, shields, or torches) will reduce speed by 1 and 2 respectively

Tbf usually in these ambushes, they let the traders live, they kill a few, but those who surrender are left alive

yes, man. I agree with you.
I think metal plated battle axe is best overall weapon in game
There are some mods nowadays that add many perks

They say that plate armor was pretty rare back then. I wonder why are there so many bandits wearing it 😅
