Gosh, articulating student concerns in a specific and respectful manner and then sitting quietly while listening to the university president respond. Kids these days are pretty crappy terrorists aren't they?

@@gbru half of the people that have been arrested aren't students they're professional protestors. Also you can protest all you want but you don't get to violate others rights while doing it. And most of these kids have no clue of what's actually happening there.

Next year it will be a different issue and she will now have to continually embarrass herself by meeting with them in public again and again regarding every issue. Since they seem to be running things what is she being paid to do? Bottom line is to just not hire from these institutions. You'll get the same type of behaviors at your company and then you'll have to jump through hoops to get rid of them, especially if your business is in a Democrat run city/state.

Glad there's a discussion happening instead of just sending in the National Guard or police. I have no personal stakehold in the issue other than wanting peace but these students should be careful because they are not fully understanding the situation and what Hamas is all about. How is Hamas going to govern once a cease fire happens? Also, these people don't know that Hamas simply throws suspected lgbtq people off roofs. The honor killings are horrific. Innocent Palestinians are being killed, but Hamas knew and wanted this when they attacked in October. These students should be careful not to parrot Hamas & Muslim Brotherhood chants, and not fall into the anti-Muslim or antisemitic traps.

With all problems students could be raising awareness near at home, they're going to spend 100% of their protesting energy on this? What about Ukraine, S. Sudan, Nigeria, North Korea, Taiwan? What about our homelessness, drug addiction, human trafficking, and gun violence problems here at home? There are so many local causes they could productively engage the public in, but they chose a terrorist backed Hamas kidnapping of innocent people as their raison d'etre? Dumb.
