The industries that create idiots like that will eventually be phased out as the smart people grow in number. It's their choice sure, but the dumb choices don't have to be as rediculous as the manufacturers make them, and good choices will be more apparent.

Probably won't be able to get a supercar, but here's the most simple way: 1. Have extremely good credit score 2. Finance a car 3. Make enough money to make the monthly payments Welcome to debt.
This is precisely the problem we have now. You just finance everything and own nothing. Financing is great and all, until you hit the constant cycle of the economic bubble. When the bubble pops, you're fucked. And then when the next bubble starts to grow, you do the exact same thing, having learned nothing
What people fail to realize, especially the older generation, is that you don’t need to work 2-3 jobs working from morning til night anymore. Technology has evolved and making money is easier, plus you can have multiple sources of income without having to do work and wait every 2 weeks to get paid. Thats how younger people are getting nice cars at a young age. With the whole “daddys money” and “rich parents” bullcrap is pure jealousy. If you had parents that could help you out financially, you’d get nice cars at a young age too. For the ones with wealthy families, don’t flaunt your wealth when your parents got you that Lambo or Porsche. Remain humble because it can be gone quicker than you got it.
SunaArashi another way is the foreign exchange market. I have plenty of friends who do it and they’re successful at it. Im gonna start doing it soon too. It just shows that we’re in a new era of money making and that working 2-3 jobs is dying out. You can make your own money and you don’t have to worry about getting a bi weekly check while your boss is making six figures and you’re living paycheck to paycheck. You can be your own boss.
Kenny B I hate to rain on your parade, especially since I agree with you for the most part, but I live near Minnetonka Minnesota which is a really nice area and I constantly see 19-20 year olds driving around Porsche’s bmws and Mercedes Benz all the time, and they’ve been driving them from the time they were 16.
Noah Benjamin That’s funny that you say that because I’m 21 years old and live near Eden Prairie Minnesota and drive a I Have three sports cars I’ve been working since I was 14 not mom and dad‘s money I just work my ass off and Out work my competitions
Charles In Charge okay but it’s a little different when you get an m5 with a big red bow on it for your 16th birthday like some of them are. I have no doubt that some of them may have worked for there money, but when it comes to the majority (at least in the orono/minnetonka area) its the 16 year old driving the parent’s cars.
I’m 17 and saved up at two part time jobs while in high school and bought a 2019 BRZ, it’s not the nicest car, but I’ve loved the idea of the car since it came out and wanted one to work on as a project.
I believe it's possible. Been playing my cards smart and recently got into a stock Nissan 350z for $9k by sacrificing small desires along the way (no tech upgrades nor buying useless gadgets, eating at home, etc.)
The 350z is a nice car and getting 9k surely isn't easy but it's far from high end. But I hope you can make fast enough for beating those high end cars ^^
Nice! Alot of people consider that high end even if not everybody. Anything more expensive than that is absurdity due to diminishing returns. My dream car is a 2008 Lexus GS 350 (305bhp!) and they are going for around the same price right now. It's a little hard to justify but I'm getting smarter and smarter with money all the time. And I know if I take very good care of it it will take care of me.
I went from a Ford Crown Victoria to a C6 Corvette within 3 years It's not a "high end" car but at just 20 years old I think I'm on the right track plus really like it! It still garners some attention & complements and everytime I take it out on the weekends I always have great encounters with other drivers on the road!
3 words: hard work & luck... if u work hard u will eventually get the things you want... but depending on your luck that could be in the near future or maybe never...
I’m 18 and I am a day trader, and real estate investor. I started learning it at 14 and that’s all I’ve done since. I have a lot of doubters and haters that say I am lucky or stupid for not going to college. I have to say I personally did get help from my parents to start. They gave me the money to get started and I had to double there money before I could take any myself. I know that’s risky, but i had confidence in my ability and it payed off. Anyone young or old can be successful my journey has just begun and I can’t wait to keep growing.
Because of social media and mumble rappers, some friends of mine believe that only exotic cars made after the Aventador are cool, and only music made within the last 6 months is cool. To each their own I guess. Great vid though.

I was able to buy myself a 2019 Camaro LT because unlike some of my friends I didn’t spend my money on dumb stuff like expensive clothes, or didn’t eat out everyday. I went to community college for 2 years instead of going to a 4-year university. I worked 24-32 hours a week and saved my money up and was able to afford my Camaro. I tell everybody if I am able too anyone can.
Same here, but I bought an 84 Camaro in decent condition. I’m also in a community college and I saved my leftover money I get back and I was able to eventually buy it
Buying a Camaro no less dumber than buying expensive clothes or eating out every day. It's all priorities. You wanted a fancy car? Great. Others want fancy clothes or dinners, it's the same thing...
I don't understand why some people are so ashamed of receiving help from their parents or being gifted a nice car. Im 17 and my dad just bought me my first car, a 2017 Volkswagen GTI. It's a nice car and I will never claim that I paid for the car on my own. I am incredibly proud of and thankful for my dad who worked so hard to become successful.
I got my Dad's 2012 Ford Fusion SE after he passed. He and my Mom separated years ago, and at the time he was with a woman named Becky. my dad and I first met Becky at an insulation job back in 2018, they later started going out and they got together. When my dad passed away this year the entire family agreed to give me his car, and Becky somehow had the money to not only pay off the car but also paid for the entire funeral. I got to meet her son and later found out Becky was filthy rich but she decides to live a middle-class lifestyle and still decides to work her ass off.
Kudos to you and with all due respect, I think you are missing out. The money is nice don’t get me wrong but the thrill of driving a sporty version of one of an Audi or Bmw (with warranty of course) is worth all the money most times
@@ismaeldah6512 I mean, I’m not gonna deprive myself from that joy, I hope to own a sports car sometime in the future. When my insurance goes down and have more disposable income and time to have fun
From the UK, been working in finance from 18 starting as an apprentice. Had a vw up first car now 21 just collected a BMW M4! Dream car for me, insurance is £700 for people that probably ask.
Sometimes when i'm in the car with my dad, he sees an expensive car and he says "That person is wasting so much money or he's spoiled, never waste money on stupid cars!" It's so annoying like I really wanna talk back but unfortunately I am a child so I can't
Biggest mistake for some people (Not all because they have different goals in life) is focusing on other things beside your career when you are young. Some are not able because they are just able to focus getting through the day (that's a different story). But some are focusing on having a good time or a significant other or making babies. If you can get a trade or college education or some type of skill set when you are young it makes all the difference.
If you want to drive around nice/interesting cars all the time, you can buy cars cheap, drive them for a bit, and then sell them for more. You have to be pretty lucky though, and it is a pretty high risk idea.
i fall into that bracket. as a 24 y/o that worked a good bit right after graduating university, I really wanted to pick up a new Subaru Forester back last year. my parents and I decided to lease on a 2019 Lexus NX. although there is a missed opportunity on that new Forester, i can definitely say that leasing the Lexus was a good thing both short and long term.
This is nearly impossible in Germany, the car prices are very high here, to get some money you either make an apprenticeship, be an entrepreneur, a part-time work while you get a degree or a full-time work, none of them really makes a lot of money probably between 6k-20k apart of the entrepreneur, in which the more you get the more you pay for taxes. If you get a ´´good´´ car between 18-25 years the insurance will be really expensive, then if you want to tune something you need to get the car at the tüv and wait until they allow you or not to get your vehicle on public streets.
Born into a struggling single mother home, pushed for good grades, went to college, got a STEM degree and got my "dream" brand new mustang ecoboost performance pack off the lot at 22 years old. My dream was always to be able to buy a brand new mustang off the lot. Only part of that dream to finish is to trade the ecoboost in about 2-3 years for that sweet sweet 5.0 GT. Many may not see the ecoboost as a luxury car, but I am over the moon to be able to purchase it at my age.
This describes me, at 24 I leased my first super car which was a Ferrari 458, I have rich parents that put me in a good University (CU-Boulder) and my dad helped me get my job. Now that I am a few years older and more mature I daily drive a S Class and my weekend toy is a M4 (F82).
I’m currently 19. Second year of college. No student loan debt cuz I have a good scholarship and the payment is low enough for my parents to pay for it. Base pay in the field is about $60k. With a little bit of saving I think I can get my mustang gt in a few years
Nice man! I’m 18, just stated college. Hopefully by the time I get done and start working in ~2 years, I’ll be making about 80k and can afford a Mustang GT too! Im aiming for a Shelby GT350, but they stopped making them and used prices will be insane. They’ll be collector cars no doubt.
@@Dragon228833 nice man! I think I’ve accepted that I’ll probably be renting for a while. Which is okay to me since half the time I’ll be living in a fire station anyways.
I'm in that second group of working hard and prioritizing my car. I don't have to pay for the house I live in and worked a minimum wage job and got an e46 BMW, it's not the most impressive car ever but its something to be proud of. Now I'm working a better job and can even afford a second car.
It may not be the most expensive or luxurious car. It may just be a civic. But 4 years of grinding and saving later I now own my dream car at 20, bought at 19. 2019 Civic Type R. It’s all about mindset and just putting your head down and powering towards your goals and eventually things go your way.

I'm 20 and in university driving an '07 Mustang GT. not the nicest or newest I know, but still decent. I worked all through high school and had a lot of money saved, and decided I wanted to drive a nice car rather than have the nicest clothes or newest phone or party every weekend like a lot of students. I also knew a guy who drove a corvette through university. He took a few years off, worked like crazy then went back to university. Its just about the choices you make and what you value.
After highschool I saved up an got a 07 v6 mustang, 5 speed. Miss it everyday, but I've since got a 14 wrx. Payments are a little high, but it's easier to drive around town and 4 doors look better on insurance.
I work at a Lexus dealership, just because I have good credit so I leased a 2020 RX350 F-Sport, and it’s only $500 a month, and I’m 20 now. Granted it wasn’t the smartest financial decision but it’s a great car and I’m really happy driving it everyday. And after the lease ends by credit will be stellar.
I’m 23 and me and my wife make about 40k/year each, living in the Charlotte area. We are by no means rich, but we live comfortably enough and have no trouble getting our bills paid and still having money for the things we enjoy. I started building my credit at 18 and have always been good about paying bills on time and saving money for things that are important for me. I’ve always been a kdm fanboy, so when the KIA Stinger came out, I realized that it was my practical dream car(I separate dream cars into practical and impractical, ex-Ferrari F40). I didn’t opt for the fully loaded $50k+ GT2 model, but rather just the GT model with the same looks and power train, minus the bells and whistles such as adaptive cruise control, awd, lane keep assist, etc. It costs significantly less than the fully loaded model but is just as fun. So basically with my well established credit, I waited for a good sale and got the car as a lease because the lease incentives were huge, and immediately bought it out. Was it the smartest decision for me to get a $35k car when my yearly income isn’t much more than that? Probably not. But I’m happy, driving the car of my dreams, and still getting all my bills paid while being able to save money and still have enough for leisure.
"Was it the smartest decision for me to get a $35k car when my yearly income isn’t much more than that? Probably not." That is a correct assessment, it was a terrible decision. Best of luck, hope you don't go broke when something unexpected happens.

I think I can somewhat comment on this. I dont have a high end car but i do have an expensive car for my age. Owned outright not financed etc. Ive bought a 1998 toyota chaser (in and around £13,000) at 20 years old while being in full time education. Its called working your ass off. For 3 years I've hustled part time at my local supermarket putting in any free hours I could. I'm 1 maybe 2 years of graduating with a degree in computer science so I hope by 25 this rate of progression will have been hightened while getting a very good salary. I don’t have my license yet, but after talking with my parents, the plan for a car is either they pass down an older vehicle to me, such as my dad’s 2005 Nissan Titan or my mom’s 2017 Audi A4, or I take some money from my college fund (since I don’t plan on going to college, I plan on taking up a trade) and buy a car then. We also recently got a ‘67 Ford Mustang coupe as a project and driver for the family (me and my dad work on it, but my mom wants nothing to do with it right now because it “smells bad”). My dad said when I get my license I can drive it in the spring and summer, but it’s not mine unless I buy it from them or they don’t want it anymore.
I really want my first car to be a early 2000 ford ranger overall good condition but a little bit of a high mileage car, preferable a manual so I can learn how to drive one, but not in perfect condition so I don’t feel bad if I get the bed scratched up.
If I graduate college with a bachelors in finance, get a nice paying 80k-100k job, live below my means for 5-7 years... could I obtain a Lamborghini huracan? Yes I know, I’m insane, but I have dreams of owning a supercar
Live below your means like that and invest a good chunk of your income. Over time compound interest adds up. And also try job swapping. It's known that if u stay at one job u won't get payed as much and they will milk you. If you hop around every 2-3 years and tell your jobs another company is offering you more. I am very glad that both you and Bladed aren't afraid to be honest about this. You're right, you don't need to be some super successful entrepreneur to have a nice car. Hell, I'm 18, and with the job I work now, making $14 an hour, I could buy a $50000 car, cash, by the time I'm 25. I would much rather have a car I can love and enjoy for years to come, than have a bunch of generally insignificant memories. Might as well throw my money into the toilet

the car trap is a rite of passage for every man, we've all been there when we were young (HS or college age). luckily though, by the time you reach your late 20s, you would most likely grow out of it and realize it's a stupid money pit. you will then achieve happiness and contentment, by simply not being interested in cars anymore or having zero desire for them. a car is just a tool to get you from point A to B, while simultaneously being a mobile liability and a disposable item at the same time.

It’s very simple. I went to college for engineering, worked a job to pay for it, got my degree, got a job paying $70k, saved money, and am looking at a 540i or a tesla now. Go to school, work hard, save money, and you’ll get what you deserve
Got to get a high salary job that you hate so you can buy a car you can barely afford. To drive it mostly to get to the job you hate, where you'll be working overtime to afford the repairs and maintenance and sacrifice your social life. Buy a car you enjoy and that's easily affordable for your situation, IMO your car shouldn't be more than 10% of your net worth, but try to get to 5%.
There are a couple of people that graduate in Business and go into investment banking that finance 80k+ cars right away. Entrepreneurs, DayTraders etc.
Please remember that's a 25yr car. No matter which car manufacturer it is, time kills cars. Things like engine compression, rust, and transmission are going to be expensive repairs.

I believe it's possible. Been playing my cards smart and recently got into a stock Nissan 350z for $9k by sacrificing small desires along the way (no tech upgrades nor buying useless gadgets, eating at home, etc.)

@Heil Starly definitely man I thought it was a merican thing but we can get 350zs for 4k which is around what you said

It's a nice car and I will never claim that I paid for the car on my own. I am incredibly proud of and thankful for my dad who worked so hard to become successful.

Never doubt any young person who dares to dream big with big ambitions in life and they'd stick to it. Myself included, ofc haha
I got my trurbo merc by swallowing a 35,000$ debt. (At 25) Thankfully now almost 30 and I’m almost done.
I own a Honda Civic SI I paid a few grand for, low maintenance, low cost , low insurance tons of fun and I save lots of cash monthly just a personal preference since I want the best of both worlds
I hate when people think my parents bought me my motorcycle. I worked over 400+ hours to afford a 2009 Yamaha fz6r motorcycle that I pay my own insurance, maintenance and gas. My next car is gonna be bought by me and I'm about $4,000 away from a used Genesis coupe. Buying used is way more rewarding.
I'm happy with my Type R, its plenty fast enough handles very well and looks cool.
Many BMW owners are the driver's parents from what I heard from a mechanic who works on them and advises his customers. "Oh I'll pick it up Friday. My dad is paying for the repair."
started working at 16, bought my big cam ‘08 vette at 17, all paid for in cash. that’s only paid in tips that I made from working.
“Dad can you buy me this?”
My mom's helping me save up for a W211 E55 AMG,she knows I love the car and is helping me get it when I get my license
Is your mom rich or do you know how to work on cars? I have a c55 amg and man if my dad wasn’t a Mercedes mechanic even small things like oil changes are super pricey. You haven’t got a license yet so ur insurance is gonna be retarded high with an amg.
the car trap is a rite of passage for every man, we've all been there when we were young (HS or college age). luckily though, by the time you reach your late 20s, you would most likely grow out of it and realize it's a stupid money pit. you will then achieve happiness and contentment, by simply not being interested in cars anymore or having zero desire for them. a car is just a tool to get you from point A to B, while simultaneously being a mobile liability and a disposable item at the same time.
I'm 24, i could've easily bought a c7 corvette when I was 23 but naw I got a civic si instead. The tradeoff is that I would not have my real estate.
If anyone is wondering: yes it's possible to get nice rides. My salary is 60k after taxes. I saved EXTREMELY aggressively and put it in tech ETFs. I'm talking Gary V cheapness, I barely ate out etc.
*Nissan Sentra* nice bladed angel reference
I've been working while in intermediate school and have around 8 years of work experience in garages and tow trucking but I only make $15k annually but most people tell me that's what most people at 22 get but it's hard not living paycheck to paycheck
Only 15k? How many hours are u working that's lower than minimum wage
Currently grinding to buy myself my dream car 🥺
It’s very simple. I went to college for engineering, worked a job to pay for it, got my degree, got a job paying $70k, saved money, and am looking at a 540i or a tesla now. Go to school, work hard, save money, and you’ll get what you deserve
I'm 19 and work hard I drive a 2014 focus st and a fully built 550hp 2004 srt4 neon
what is your work?
i got a 200hp scirocco as my first car for 5k€ and i LOVE IT!
Smartest comment of all
There are a couple of people that graduate in Business and go into investment banking that finance 80k+ cars right away. Entrepreneurs, DayTraders etc.
Thinking of doing a few jobs and currently looking at a 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4. It’s going for $17,500.
Please remember that's a 25yr car. No matter which car manufacturer it is, time kills cars.
Things like engine compression, rust, and transmission are going to be expensive repairs.
