    Living with disabilities I certainly would love to try the full size option and see if quality of life would enhance without the pain and pain medicine all the time...

    Took a tour of the assembly floor of an auto plant a few weeks ago, and saw workers reaching up underneath a chassis installing parts, and thought how they must be crying with pain after a day or two of this work. I'm extremely surprised how this hasn't been in place for many years now.

      BackX costs about $4k alone. Entire suit is about $40k. No employer would be stupid enough to invest that much on a suit for lazy idiots who talk shit about them behind their backs.

      it's a matter of ROI - worker turnover and cost will still keep this few and far between, until something that will cost less than a couple hundred bucks comes along

    The industrial one has military and combat application. It seems better than their powered exoskeleton prototypes.

    It looks like its still years ahead of being any good a shame. I have Reumatoid atritis 17 places in the body in nearly all my joints, it would have been real nice either to have my bones & joints replaced with android parts or have an exo skeleton so i could hike climb & walk again, a shame im 50 + im sure the future holds amazing things..........

    On their site :
    Shoulder-X = $4000
    Back-X =$4000
    Leg-X= $6000
    $14000 for all.......still WAY to much for a few springs and counter balancing. Oh and a small cheap computer in the Leg-X.
    Want to make it accessible to people who need it? EASY SOLUTION: knock a "0" off each of the costs.

    1/3 of the cheapest one? So that would be $25k? Hahahahahahaha. Extortion. Extortion!!! As much as I dislike Chinese made products, this is a classic reason why I will wait for a Chinese-made version. If you want to really "help" people, you should take a look at the Apple model. Otherwise, it's not gonna go anywhere. You, CEO, stop trying to be a gazillionaire. Nobody will take their $$ with them when they die...

    • @zachgomez
      @zachgomez 7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      The cost of each module is $3,000-$5,000, the complete MAX is only $11,000. Pricing is available on suitx.com

      It's capital Equipment. Not a consumer product like Apple's. Not YET anyway, BTW, if you were to buy the original personal computers (for business. not home), you'd pay more than that inflation adjusted.

    • @rasmasyean
      @rasmasyean 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The base model of the Apple II = $5,259 ($1298 in 1977 dollars)

    • @augrandoir9345

      The model for Apple has always been more expensive than other products not cheaper.
