Hi for window users, you can use oh my glyph. You have to load the same font in canva first, which you need a pro version of canva. Then you can brows the glphys and paste it. The font is a game changer for any project, so dont work with limited fonts.

Hi! Thank you for such a helpful and informative video! I tried this with several fonts and it worked; however, when I tried this with the Austria font, it didn't copy the glyph characters…it pastes the non-glyph characters. Do you know if there's there another way to do this?

Thanks. Great tutorial. Just 1 question? I am trying to use the first letter as a capital with Creative Fabrica glyph fonts. But, I cannot find it in the font library. How do we use the first letter as capital with the glyph fonts?
Confused. You use fontbook not font base or the ones you mentioned? I don’t have a mac. Can you do a video on how to use the ones you mentioned?
I have a pc and was able to find the font book, but it was tiny so took some squinting to find them lol. Nice vid ty

Mine keeps showing a square or x when I try to paste. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong!
I would *LOVE* some help! I am doing everything you are doing, but when I try to paste the glyph into Canva, it pastes the "non glyph" version of the letters, even though I am copying the glyph format of the letters. (I'm trying to copy a ligature that is formed using 2 letters) I have tried clicking command V as someone suggested, but that didn't work either. (using a Mac with current software with Canva Pro).
I'm having the same problem with the Austria font! This method worked with other fonts though but I'm super bummed because I wanted to use the Austria font for our wedding signs :( I'm wondering if there's another method or if I'm doing something wrong.

Ive been travelling south east asia for 6 months but on my last month now before going home for the summer- but perhaps will be back when Canada gets cold again
@@c.u.online Very cool. I have not been to south east asia yet, but its on my list. I have traveled throughout Europe and loved it very much. Canada is a place I need to visit as well. I currently live in Las Vegas. Super fun town but the summers can get truly brutal here.
Is there a way to do this on an iPad? That’s what I design on. Ya know, until I’m making big bucks and can buy a Mac 😉
I tried this method and unfortunately it still didn't work for me :( I used fontbook but the glyphs didn't show up on there
No matter what I do, I can't paste these characters into Canva, even after following all the steps. Any suggestions?
do you have a text box open that has the right font selected? If you have a different font other than the one youre trying to paste in, it shows up as a question mark
i didn't have mac i there is another method

I have a MacBook and canva I followed exactly what you said do but it doesn’t work.
Highlight the glyph you want click command button + C (to copy) then go to Canva, click where you want the font to go and click command button + V ( to paste). That's what I had to do because it didn't work for me the way she did it. Hope this helps
@@punkus22 I have this same issue, but when I go to copy it into Canva...by either hitting Command V or paste, it pastes it in the regular "non glyph" format of the letter. :(

It's SO bizarre, I follow the exact instructions and for every single glyph I get a big "X" instead of the glyph in Canva. Doesn't work for me, even with Canva Pro and Mac Font Book.

You look SO MUCH better when you used to only put on very subtle makeup that makes you look way more natural.
