The older gen e63 and c63’s will always have my heart 😢 that v8 NA sound is unforgettable
Still amazes me that Mercedes managed to replicate 80% of the sound on the 4.0 biturbo V8. But the new C63s is just WTF.......
My mom uses this model, only its a C350, not C63 😅
@@keledek660 idk about replicate it much but it does still sound good don’t get me wrong who doesn’t love a turbo v8. Mercedes-Benz’s 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8, produced in M176, M177, and M178 guises, has been in production since 2015 and powered a multitude of Mercedes models. These include non-AMG badged models such as the S 650 Coupe and Cabriolet, GLE 580, G 500, and Mercedes-Maybach S 580 4Matic but it is most famous for its presence in the C 63, E 63, S 63, GT 63, G 63, GLC 63, GLE 63, GLS 63, and all AMG GT models.
@@cobygreenwood1015 i think the 5.5 biturbo v8 sounds way better than the 4.0. In certain ways it sounds better than the NA one for me personally

I've got a 2013 C63 Edition 507 coupe in black with long tube headers, complete de cat & muffler delete with 4 Coby resonators, so complete straight pipe! (Very loud). She is tuned & dyno'd to 582hp with 700nm Torque & watching this vid still makes giddy & smile even after 5+ years of ownership 😄

@@antonysaundersAMG put the muffler back on and everything else straight. The muffler is what gives 90% of the amg sound and barely muffles. Like you realize the muffler is made by eisenmann and amg. You really want a way shittier sound for 5% more noise on a already way too loud system? On a 507 too? Stupid and ghetto move.

I own a 2012 C63 p30 and it’s my favorite car ever !!! I wish I had 2 of them ! Seriously the downshifts and the V8 sound are just intoxicating and hard not to drive these like you stole them every time you’re behind the wheel 🔥🔥🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪💨💨💨💨 one of the best sounding V8’s ever made and a legendary AMG !! You see coyotes and Camaros , chargers everywhere but very few select a W204 C63 🇩🇪🇩🇪💨🔥🔥🔥

@@TimiTurnaj at some point in the lifetime of your car you will need to replace some or all camshafts, valve caps and more frequently the variable cam actuators. The new parts can easily cost many thousands if you need to do a lot of them at once. Sadly that issue is very common and if left untreated can be harmful or deadly to the entire engine. See it as a similar detriment to the engine's fun as having to do the rod bearings on the S65 from the E92 M3.
@@drogenfeld just buy a Lexus ISF. Sounds just as good with PPE headers and a cat back and way more reliable. Better gearbox also.
@@MD-uu5nt no tuning parts in Germany. You have to drive stock or risk voided registration when you're caught.

Drove a C63 507 Edition Estate a few years ago, gorgeous motor. Didn't enjoy the foot activated hand brake, so I kept on driving.

@@petrolhead8851 i have had both for over 2 years and i prefer the c63 amg. Much better drivetrain. Also feels noticeably faster. Especially with a tune. 540 hp with a simple ecu flash done at home. Also i had to take the m3 twice to the shop for power steering issues and the 63 not once. So that is a added plus
@@multiblade04 the c63 is definitely the faster car, I’ve never been in one or driven one, but you might be right about the drivetrain because my e90 m3 feels weird, it feels to race car ish which I like but can get annoying for daily driving
@@multiblade04 honestly I just love the looks and sound of the s65 engine! But drivability does suck! And it’s really and I mean really bad on gas, especially when it’s on e85

Arguably one of the coolest “muscle cars” ever made. That na 6.3 is something else. I have a 2012 zr1 and an 03 cobra coupe and a 1971 Camaro that I’ve been building for the last 8 years but if I ever have the opportunity to pick one of these up that’s been well maintained for a decent price I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

Hows the reliability pf the car after modification in terms of parts. If i want to make big power should i be building the engine? How much power can the engine hold on atock internals? And whats a quick source to make the car sound this nice and make between 550 to 600 whp to start with right away with mods?
