I have a e93 m3 6mt I recommend to follow @troyjeup on ig for s65/s85 ownership tips. I use 5w50 oil and race thermostat to keep engine healthy rather than the garbage 10w60 bmw uses that runs these cars too cold

@@SzymonKasperczyk well the n52 is known as one of the most reliable BMW engines (lack of power tho.) The N54 is known to make crazy power with mods but lacks reliably. So I’m not sure what your talking about the N engines being build like garbage.

Damn I didn’t realize how much faster my 335i is than an m3. Starting to feel slower lately. I’m at around 530 to the wheels currently though I know the m3 would handle that power so much better I love that v8
335 Is nowhere near as interesting as an m3,yes you can make it faster than an m3 easy but you will never get the attention and the feeling behind the wheel of an m3 with a 335i. Great car tho. And stock of course m3 is faster,only thing is 99% of n54 engines are tuned. This V8 is cracking im getting one for sure👍
Got one of the last ones made September 13, low mileage in the spec I wanted about 5 weeks ago. went down to London for it, love the car, was between the m4 or the e92 but the v8 sold it for me , rod bearings was putting me of abit but getting them done with BE bearings, thinking of an exhaust, either gintani sport or eisenmann race, tho this one sounds great as well

This video singlehandedly changed my mind on transmission choice whenever I pick up my E92 M3. I was sold on the DCT because of how you can rip through gears, but the manual looks so much more engaging. I don’t care if it feels “rubbery” or notchy lol. Looks so fun

i drove in the last 5-6 years round about 10-12 different BMW´s.. not all of them was M and not all was mine but i can tell from my experience that i also had nearly no usecase for the 5th gear.. after the 4th you just go to the 6th.. by the way im from germany so here i can use the speedometer what is paid for and still no 5th gear neccessarry ;)
@@ChannelAsh100 doesnt Matter from what i know With the transmissions since 2000+ Cars. Untill you keep a good RPM before shifting and Match nicely into the Higher one ITS Like you Shift Just one Gear. In my Case i Had my E90 and Drove 484.100km With the First Transmission without any Problems, No Metall in the Fluid and No repairs Needed. Had to give the Car away to the Export due to the TÜV Here in Germany. Take my answer Not AS an Professional, im Just a Casual Guy Like Most of US and speaking my from my own experience.

My e90 335d tuned and deleted is way faster than the m3 but the exhaust note though
