  • I had to make this. . .not for any particular reason other than to capture what's been going on because I felt a real urge to turn a lens on it. To have a little memory preserved as to what COVID-19 life was like in the house.
It's simple, different, relaxed and precious.
The moments last longer. Emotions amplified. The conversations deeper. The games more crazy. The crazies more. . .well. . .crazy! :)
It's not perfect, it's not ideal - it's most certainly not what we wanted. . .but it is here. It has forced us to slow down and it is teaching us daily, more and more, what it means to be a family.
After the last 9 months of getting everything to the point where we could pack up and leave - this feels like life at a snail's pace. It's like the universe has been telling us all we need to chill the # out for so long and now it has finally put it's foot down.
It is forcing me, somebody who is always looking at the next thing, to take this experience for what it is. To live in and be grateful for this present moment. To be grateful for this life. To be grateful for family. For no matter what transpires, tomorrow is not guaranteed.
Sending you love. And looking forward to shaking your hand on the other side. x
