A decade or so ago it was mostly older 3 or 5 series BMWs around here but it seems they've managed to crash most of the cheap ones so they now switched to driving Audis.

    New Australian driver handbook rules:
1: If you can't see just pull out. 2: Braking is optional if a two tonne stationary object is blocking your path. 3: You don't need the 3 second rule, the airbags got you. 4: Red lights mean everyone else will stop for you, so you don't have to bother........ Going frame by frame it does appear the lights are flashing, but they are smaller then your normal emergency vehicle, basically just some blue LEDs. I could be wrong. Either way the emergency vehicle is absolutely at fault here. On a blind corner like that they are supposed to roll through it at low speed, siren blaring.
I've seen some dashcam from the POV of a ambulance on youtube, most intersections they take it way faster then feels natural to me (a ordinary driver) but always they are rolling through it.

Filtering at speed and also speeding in this case. The DC car was at over 80 so that bike was definitely doing more than a ton given the speed he passed at.
It’s possible the road is 110, but that’s a top limit when conditions are good. There was too much traffic to be passing cars at such a high speed differential.
No doubt the rider was upset at that car changing lanes, and probably doesn’t see his own fault in the accident.

It definitely had an impact on me because there was this scary crash worker who scared the hell out of everyone with warnings, almost like threats!!
